Well it ain’t Theo he is too weak and Gervinho is too stupid and Poldolski ? Erm good left foot but no idea how to lead front line. We are screwed.
Gervinho is NOT stupid. He is far more intelligent than Walcott in terms of the runs he makes and the positions he finds himself in. People often judge people by his off-pitch appearance, where he does appear sharp and clever. But compare him and Gervinho and I would say Gervinho is the more intelligent footballer. Theo almost always relies on pace for his goals. But when Gerv played in that forward position he displayed some goalscoring potential (goal against Chelsea?). Give the man credit where it’s due.

Good analysis of the game Hayley.
The resut was great but not the performance.In the spurs game,MC were passing all the time.By the time they got to the box,they were confronted by a massed defence.Arsenal play to a similar style.So it was not surprising Defoe and Bale scored when the defence was 50% open . Both had time and space. If Arsenal play like this against the red faced,they will be ripped to pieces.The speed of the counter attack is crucial. That will give defenders less time to regroup.
