MOTM for me last night and a contender for player of the season. Has kept the likes of Lewindowski, van Persie, Suarez and Lukaku in his pocket which is no mean feat. Best defender in the league by miles!

Great vid. Shows just how important Kos has become to the team. Not only is his defending first class but his distribution is too. Great to think Kos and the BFG could have a partnership that runs for the next 4-5 years.
The moment at 1:34 or so, is outstanding. The vision to run back to cover the cross, then the instant realisation that Gibbs has Lukaku covered (between ball and player) so he can step back and snuff out the cut back – that is a goal saving piece of defending.

Amazing. I love how he steps up when the attacker gets the ball at his feet and back against the goal, gives his attacker a hard but fair tackle, gives him a pat on the back and just runs back to the defensive line, all pretty much without even blinking. He’s done this against so many top class attackers and it’s equally satisfying every time.
