We’ve got the depth in midfield to deal with it barring a load of injuries. Everyone will certainly be getting games, Rosicky can come in, Ramsey and Wilshere can swap around, as can Flamini and Arteta. Gnabry, the Ox and Bendtner will be getting plenty of minutes as well. I’m mainly worried about Mertesacker though. If we lose him to injury we’re in serious trouble.

not much of a muchness really. it will be 3 days away from either Manure or Bayarn. I anticipate it will be the Sunday afternoon game since city play CL on the Tuesday so their game against Chelsea will likely be the Saturday 17.30 fixture

Shit draw. With the likes of Charlton and Brighton still in it we get this tough one. But at least we are at home. If we get through then an easy quarter-final is probable, with either City or Chelsea going out.

looking at those fixtures, it just seems crazy not to bring in another striker when we have the chance. Giroud can’t do it all on his own!
It is tough group of fixtures which in the last couple of seasons we probably wouldn’t have done very well in. This years team seams to be made of pretty stern stuff though and I fancy us to do very well and should see the bin dippers off in the cup.

Haven’t felt this excited to support the Arsenal in a while… for the first time we’re urging our guys to gun for silverware, instead if having those shitty “well at least our League position is still ok after our draw against Stoke…” sort of months after bombing out of everything.
