COYG!

Flamini and Monreal starting is absolute nonsense. Flamini is just a bad footballer and Monreal is poor out of position. Even with our injuries we can do so much better than this.

Springbank 1965

Without any of us knowing the exact state of fitness of our players … what exactly would you do?

I really don’t get the Monreal at centrehalf thing. I realise that very game he plays centrehalf he’ll be gaining more experience there and he and Mertesacker will get more understanding of each other, but it’s a game in which Chambers could be gaining that experience and forging that partnership and I think that’d be better in the long run. It’s baffling.

Alexstratz

Right now we’re too dependent on Sanchez. Given the amount of games he’s played (including international friendlies), I hope he doesn’t burn out by mid-season.

GoonerN16

FEO? Meaning?

MTZ

Theo Walcott is on the bench.

“Wenger promotes youth”

I’m again pissed off that Wenger don’t play Bellerin. Wonder if he’s going to use Monreal for the rest of Koscielny absance, which will be at least a month to hear them say it :/

jedi

Arteta-Flamini against a team that just got beat 8-0 by Sunderland. Am I missing something here? Disgrace to Rosicky, Podolski and Campbell. Tactical genius my foot.

ramsey's spirit

Sunderland beat themselves did they?

Monkey Nuts

Pretty much

Martin

Arteta-Flamini? and Cazorla? wtf Wenger? Why not Rosicky, Podolski or Campbell?

David

Aparently Arsene cant graps the concept of Rotation no matter how much time Bould explain him

james-enfield

I’m guessing this means Ox or more likely Cazorla is going to have a free role this morning (afternoon, whatever, I’m five hours behind). Kinda thinking Rosicky should’ve gotten into the team over Flamini, would’ve given us a different flavour going forward.

Not quite

Bellerin at LB with Chambers in the middle is a thousand times better than a Monreal Mertesacker partnership that were ripped to shreds by Anderlect. And looks like Ramsey was rushed back too soon again and is out injured again.

Leave the jokes to me

Arteta-Flamini combo is even worse than a Wilshere-Ramsey combo. Let’s hope they prove us wrong but if they don’t we knew that anyway

cheekyjc

A very strong bench.

Monkey Nuts

Our bench could beat their 11

Martin

Seeing that lineup just makes me angry. I can’t stand Wenger. Everything passing week makes me hate him that little bit more.

Forfuckssake

Kinda past the whinging stage. CYG! Remember CL win against Napoli both Arteta and Flamini started and the game was over by half time. 3-1 to the ARSE

eagerbeaver

Wenger has lost it all. This is my template for now till things change.

Robstar

I think we should skip the game and go straight to the player ratings.

Rich

I’m still seething about passing on Cesc.

Andy Mack

About his leaving or about AW not wanting to re-hire a player that went on strike to get a move away from us?

mashkeyboardgetusername

Does Arteta-Flamini we’re going 4-2-3-1? If so I’m not too upset about it.

Forfuckssake

We needed to add some security to our defence. Damn good shout Wenger and time for fans to put their rattles back in theirs prams and get behind the team. Great to see Theo on the bench.

Forfuckssake

Im forever blowing bubbles

Monkey Nuts

Song and Jenkinson played well

Babycham

Allerdyce in!

Santi Claws

lucky Bubbles! 😉 😉 😉

Rich

You know things are bad when any sort of reasonable critism is actually accepted on Arseblog.

Dexterbear

Playing 2 defensive minded midfielders should mean we are a bit more solid. I also think it means arsene doesnt want to push ramsey too hard after his injury.

I think monreal is chosen to play cb because when chambers plays there he plays on the right and that would mean the right hand side of our defense ( chambers and bellerin) would be very inexperienced. Which is surely a massive risk away from home in the premier league. I think if debuchy was fit chambers would be at cb.

R3d

I just don’t understand this persistence with Monreal in the middle. Is he then really our 3rd choice CB?

Tj

That’s definitely a 4231. And a strong bench, with Walcott finally back. Must win game, we’ll be within two points of city. COYG!

Ancient Gooner

Looks good. Protect the back four first of all.

SoqedHozi

Haters out on force today… Come on you gunners! Doesn’t matter who plays if they wear the shirt and get the results.

Bkue

Thank you mister Brown

Bkue

Thank you mister Manone and who ever the fuck did that horrific back pass

Forfuckssake

1 nil to the Arsenal 1 nil to the Arsenal 1 nil to the Arsenal.

Bkue

…and another one bites the dust

John

What would we do without Alexis?

Forfuckssake

Cheers doubters 2 nil WENGERS RED AND WHITE ARMY are u watching fatgooner. Liverpool nil hull nil ha ha

Bkue

you’re joking right ? From what i saw there’s no need to get ecstatic (good team defense do)

Alexstratz

Thank god that’s over. I’ll take a bad performance but 3 points, a clean sheet, and 2 goals any day.
