Some Weird Guy

Sweet we got a left back! Mon d’Arse keep this winning run going!

lauren van luzhny

we got both of them back

Ancient Gooner

We have a new no. 1 keeper.

Goonstein

Well, Macey for sure doesn’t know what’s happening right now…. COYG

ForeignGooner

I was expecting to see Giroud in the stasting XI, but a strong team nonetheless.
COYG!

Witoldo

Just back from injury and he put in a big shift on Saturday. And let’s not forget that at the beginning of the season he looked off the pace anyway due to World Cup hangover.

rossi88

COYG!! Massive game tonight. Im confident of a 1 nil win tonight. Only flamini looks to me a weak link, hope he has a stormer!!

GunnerDareMACEDONIA

I’m confident of a 3-0 win, it’s time to hit the ground running and hit high form.

Arsepedant

Flamini completed 64 of 69 passes tonight.

WizardOfOzil

Good man Nacho!

guyfawkes

And the Rosicky mystery goes on. Wenger should just offload the poor guy and Podolski. They don’t deserve this kind of nonsense 2 mins cameo appearances.

Dale Cooper

I love both players, especially Rosicky, but both of them were awful when they started against Southampton in the league cup. That said, I hope they get some game time soon.

P.S COYG

fatgooner's left peg

Well on that basis, Ramsey has been terrible pretty much every game as has Cazorla, Mertespacker and a few others. So we should never see them again either. Right?

Ramesh

Though it might be important to give them time, it’s even more important to let this XI gel. Let’s try and win some games continuously first.

gooner1981

There’s the busy December period, and the whole of next year till the season ends. We’re going to need Rosicky January onwards…. of course, there may be a chance he’d want to leave after this season. But we won’t let him go mid-season, especially when his performances are crucial for us in the second half of the season

poirobi

Nice to see those knocks were not that serious after all. I feel like Santi finally finds his scoring boots tonight.

Arsepedant

I’ve got a fiver on Arsenal to win and Cazorla to score. Got 24/5. Come on you Gunners!

rossi88

Cazorla 1st scorer asnl 2-1 60-1

Alexis Alexis

Really looking forward to seeing Chamberlain from the start today. He’s been immense this past month. I seriously have my doubts regarding the fitness of Gibbs. I mean if he’s fit then why not start him unless he’s carrying a bit of an injury.

Me So Hornsey

No schneiderling?

I think we’ve got this.

WizardOfOzil

Long though, he’ll be dangerous.

TizTeezy

90 minutes!

palace gunner

A win of course is important as for prem table positions of gunners and saints it is important to see the other big games coyg

goonero

This Southampton teams on a real hype, kindly clip their wings and remind them it’s only temporary.

Javis

So much speed across front three, Santi has been excellent behind the front three last two games, I fancy him to make a big impact tonight…

David

I see a big game for Alexis with only Welbeck in front of him. I thought Welbeck and Giroud together last game didn’t leave enough room for Sanchez to get forward.

Pretty good bench of subs as well!

COYG!!!

DialSquareGoon

Speedy front line is the reasoning. Good call.

DialSquareGoon

Southhampton play a high defensive line

Arsepedant

With Ox and Alexis on the wings, we’ll get in behind that high line frequently. This is an extremely strong line-up with an extremely strong bench. I am full of optimism for this match!

Martin K

Disappointing to not see Campbell in the squad….

WengersNoseHair

They may have lost to Man $ity, and have Schneiderlin injured, but that’s still a very good starting line-up for the Saints.
They bring Shane Long in to start, who is a big improvement over Mane. He’ll probably start at LW. He’s quick and a decent dribbler, so The Ox needs to do his defensive work.
Sanchez v. Clyne should be a tasty battle too.

GunnerDareMACEDONIA

I think it’s good mane is on the bench, if you watched the carilng cup game when we lost to saints 1-2 mane was a constant problem with his speed and trickery, and chambers had real problems to deal with him. With kos and per we should deal with both long and pelle. COYG !

Bob

Only one midfield sub. We are a bit depleted there. Hope we can put it to bed early, and let Rosicky get some playing time.

MTZ

As solid a team as we can field right now. Let’s get’em.

dexterthebear

Bit bizarre to put both giroud and sanogo on the bench. Thats 2 players that can only play one position

Striker

Indeed. Especially when you have players like Campbell which offers us different things than Sanogo.

Striker

First half absolutely rubbish.,
