Good lad. Just 20, great career looming…

punter

terrible terrible haircut!

Rozza the samourai

Not terrible if compared to the right back who left for $hitty.

He is a fantastic servant of the club until the very end. I wont deny him that pleasure of earning a bit more dough before he retire.

Bould's Eyeliner

Or maybe a change of pace or a slim chance at winning a title. We may be up and coming but it will most likely come after he retires, and for his services, I would not blame Sagna for wanting a title. Too bad for him this year (though I don’t feel too bad about it really).

CB

A shot at the title and a nice warm seat on the bench for more money.

What could be nicer?

Shadow

Already 12 years with us. Still feels like he joined just now.

Andy Mack

He’s done much better for us than many appreciate.
He brings different skills to Hector but his weaknesses are highlighted by our ‘FBs as wingers’ tactics.
Although having him at optional RB does stop some moaning about HBs ariel abilities…….

Mr. White

Looks like ramsey

Strevs

I really like him, a lot, but he is 100% going to be a centre back. He is not a right back, which is why he struggles against speedy wingers. He has all the attributes to be a ball playing centre half where all the play is in front of him.

Rozza the samourai

He put in a couple of very good performances as CB at the beginning of the season. Not sure he will get enough game time as CB with Gabriel and Debuchy who has done very well when playing CB and who is much more experienced. The place for him must be substitute DM if Coquelin is unavailable.

Andy Mack

In the bigger teams especially the DM really needs to be experienced. He’s been used as CB only when really necessary as risk-wise the only defensive position to gain experience is as FB.

Kevin

I’m liking the options we have in defense at the moment. The fact that we can combine our players into 1) a back four that combines good pace, experience and heading ability (Monreal, Kos, Mert Debuchy). 2) great pace for attacking (Gibbs, Kos, Gabriel, Bellerin). Or 3) excellent heading ability and strength for defending (Monreal, Kos, Mert, Chambers). Three combinatios that gives us something for every situation we can encounter in my opinion, utilizing our entire squad.

FOC

Love Kos the Boss. Named in all 3. Cant wait for Gabriel to do same.

AnonymousGun

As much as I love the Boss, him being undroppable shouldnt happen.

Never seen a player get beaten as much as this guy e.g Vs Montero

Andy Mack

I’d guess you don’t watch much football then. He’s certainly had bad games but most young FBs (and every other position) have bad games occasionally.

MegaJulz

So you’re telling me when Chambers is playing RB vs a rapid winger/ skillfull wide forward you’re perfectly ok with that ?
For me he doesnt have the mobility to play anywhere but centrally.

Andy Mack

You said “Never seen a player get beaten as much as this guy” which is a dumb comment! I’m not saying he’s the best RB in the world but he’s certainly not the worst in the PL. Is he AFC standard RB…. definitely not 1st choice….. but has potential. All young players lack consistency and if HB has a bad game then CC would have been a better choice (hind sight is great) but I think HB is ahead of him in the pecking order, so he’d 3rd choice RB with Jenks…. and still certainly not the worst RB in… Read more »

Andy Mack

You said “Never seen a player get beaten as much as this guy” which means you don’t watch many games. It doesn’t make him a world class RB but he’s not the worst in the PL either.

santori

Chambers is not a natural CBack. His natural position (for Soton) is at RB. He is a versatile player with great technical foundation (unlike Jenkinson) and a natural calm disposition which may suit him at Cback. But he has to improve in positioning defensively both for RB and Cback. When he played CBack, his positioning cost us a number of goals which if he were Flamini there would be much derision. Of course most people tend to conveniently choose to hear what they want. Wenger has repeatedly in the summer mention that he eventually sees Chambers in midfield. This dynamic… Read more »
