Some great goals and moves beforehand. Ramsey the best imo but Sanchez had numerous excellent goals.

I’ve watched Walcott’s goal in the final about a billion times now, and while my favourite part is no doubt Walcott’s celebration and the huge roar of the crowd, the ball Coquelin played from midfield out to Walcott on the wing is just brilliant. And something about the way Coquelin delivers it, he just looks so cool and confident, he might as well have been playing a league match home to a bottom-feeder in September rather than a cup final. He’s a special player.

Wow, Giroud scored many amazingly sexy goals this season.
And how much credit does he get for them? Imagine the reaction if Costa or Kane scored goals of that quality. Giroud gets an incredibly tough run in the media.
It’s absolutely insane, totally inexplicable that he gets so much shit.
…and from some misguided Arsenal fans! The man is a god!
My favorite is still Cazorla’s birthday goal vs Newcastle. He could have gone down when tripped, but kept his feet and control of the ball, and then he put it over Krul and into the far side netting from a tight angle.
Came here to mention this goal, for me it’s how great his first touch is to delicately dink it over poor-mans-Puyol’s leg and then to chip it in like that is fantastic. But let’s not give him to much credit because remember how ‘disrespectful’ his penalty was later on in that game…..
Got to be Rambo #1 and Sanchez #2! The circumstances where much better for Sanchez but that Ramsey goal… on the volley, top corner and it looked like it was from further out.
We’ve been spoilt to no end this year in terms of the quality of strikes.

I have to agree with Culann, brilliant as Ramsey’s strike against Gala was, Sanchez in the Cup Final was the best.
That said, there is a huge number of truly amazing goals in that collection. We were blessed in 14-15.
Love Alexis’s volley when that free kick came back to him off the wall too. Just remember watching a compilation of Alexis’s best goals in a Barcelona shirt when we signed him a year ago and dreaming he might do anything even close to that for us. Dreams do come true (or is that Gabriel…?)

Alexis Sanchez is just incredible – I love him! I want to say we are lucky to have him BUT HELL NO we deserve to have him! It is great to have so many players now in the squad now who would be first choice in elite clubs around Europe. We used to only have 2-3, now about 7-8 by my count.

Certanly some of the best goals I have ever seen and have supported Arsenal now for 72 years I have seen a few I can assure you Henry and Bergcamp scored a few as well but some of the greatest headed goals I have ever seen were by Reg Lewis another great striker for Arsenal also Doug Lishman what a great player and goal scorer he was and what a great team we support not only as a team but also as a club how many other clubs keep getting there old players coming back to see them and also… Read more »
