Off the back, Serge. He is involved which may suggest he is still part of next season’s plans despite not featuring pre-season. Jeff. Better all round prospect than Sanogo. Considering Giroud’s age, may still be a bit young to supercede the main bloke in two seasons. Perhaps Sanogo will develop as stop gap. Certainly Welbeck will be still around. Maybe still a need for an interim striker in between. But may not be needed till a season or two down bc this season, availability of top end striker looks limited.
