Gibbs for Monreal is OK, I’m just glad it’s not wholesale changes like last week. And Bellerin in there and not Debuchy is a bit of a relief, I’m sad to say. I’m fine with Ospina tonight but I hope Cech plays against Bayern Munich. Go Gunners!

Interesting. In a similar vein to arseblogger’s arseblog arsetoday, I wonder if Wenger’s put Kos and Gab back together immediately as a cup pairing (like Ospina?) or because they’re our first choice pairing. Centre half partnerships do better out of consistency than perhaps any other part of the pitch, so hopefully it won’t be an area we’re chopping and changing for the sake of it.
Rest of the team looks good too. Glad the Ox is getting chances to play his way into form.

How familiar, seriously why the fuck do we bother with European football? It’s embarrassing, play the reserves (if we lose this) the rest of the competition and focus on the league and defending the FA Cup.
There’s no need to state the obvious when it comes to Cech but in an attacking sense our bench is horrific. This just shouldn’t be the case at all. Giroud is out and our attacking options from the bench are zero.
Even a decent, not ‘top top top’ striker, would have been a good addition in the window.
