I watched it to the end; it drew me in, I empathised with the main characters
for a while, but then it lost it’s narrative drive. The editing was crude and the
ending was unresolved. It might do well on the festival circuit.

Not all that interesting, but did chuckle at 8:45-8:46 where it appears Joel is giving it to Coq. My sense of humor hasn’t changed since I was 12, apparently.
Yesterday they were showing Premier League legends.. was about Pires. I wasn’t following Arsenal or football too much before 2005-2006 . That documentary made me feel really bad about missing out on those glory days. Actually I feel bad almost every time I see a clip of Henry/Pires/Bergkamp and all those players anyway. . They showed the moment when Pires lifted the trophy when he was injured.. I saw us lifting the FA cup last two seasons. That moment.. him lifting the cup.. All in a day’s job. These guys are living the dream. I’d watch training videos like this over and over again.. I love the partnerships.. Per and Cech (with Koscielny shuffling right behind), Pires, Santi, Bellerin, Cazorla and Alexis (Spanish connection?), Giroud & Debuchy.. Maybe I’m reading too much meaning into the way they walked into the training ground.. But I love this. Watching again

Only thing I felt was definitely missing from this intimate video was that at the start when they were walking down that long path to the training area I think it would have really been complete and quite poetic if Wenger and the boys could have been carrying a few Sainsburys carrier bags or something (maybe with their muddy boots in?) (or maybe with just some groceries, cans etc, for later). I missed the rustle of the cheap carrier bag in the wind – apart from that orgasmic.
