On a more serious note defensively we were pretty sloppy to be two down after 15 minutes. And with all due respect to the Bulgarians their goals weren’t exactly world class. A simple set piece that we failed to defend and with our LB done too easily for the second.
Also had Ospina to thank in the second half saving two clear chances.
Still not sure about Ramsey on the flanks despite his assist.
But glad to bag the three points and looking forward to the derby this weekend.
Even though we didn’t have our best game, you can see the qualities we have in the team. Ozil had a good game and a hand in all 3 goals. That winner was some brilliant soccer combo; Giroud ran back and won the ball with some good tackle, Mo’ Elneny was intelligent enough to spot Ozil’s run quickly and gave that pass to aplomb. Talking about aplomb, Ozil’s finish was mad! Giroud’s header was brilliant from a good Ramsey cross. Ozil’s goal was brilliant, i just cant stop laughing at the goalkeeper and the defenders. Ozil is a cruel man. Its a good win considering that the team that we fielded wasn’t our first choice. Despite the two goals we conceded, we really showed our fighting spirit to win the game. Our defense needed something like that to wake up, Spurs will massacre us if we go with that kind of defense mistakes.

We really missed Bellerin tonight and Montreal would surely have been better than Gibbs! Defensively we were very sloppy though all round! Wanderson made us look like amateurs! Thank God for Ozil! What a great player, and the goal was sublime! Contender for goal of the season, methinks!!
