Further Arsenal fixtures selected for live broadcast

9

Sky Sports and BT Sport have selected further Arsenal matches for live broadcast in the UK resulting in further changes to the original fixture list.

Arsenal are already condemned to a disproportionate amount of Sunday football due to our participation in the Europa League.

As things stand, by our estimations, we’ve only two 3pm Saturday kick-offs (Bournemouth, 9 September / Swansea, 28 October) all the way through until the end of November.

Latest match amends below…

Watford v Arsenal

Saturday, October 14
Kick-off: 5.30pm (originally 3pm)
Live on: BT Sport

Everton v Arsenal
Sunday, October 22 (originally TBC)
Kick-off: 1.30pm
Live on: SKY SPORTS

Manchester City v Arsenal
Sunday, November 5
Kick-off: 2.15pm (originally TBC)
Live on: SKY SPORTS

Arsenal v Sp*rs
Sunday, November 19 (originally Saturday, November 18)
Kick-off: 1.30pm
Live on: SKY SPORTS

Burnley v Arsenal
Sunday, November 26
Kick-off: 2pm (originally TBC)
It’s possible that Arsenal’s fixture with Sp*rs could revert to Saturday (12.30pm ko) if our neighbours are scheduled to play Champions League football on Tuesday, 21 November.

Ergh, these lunchtime kick offs are a drag. There’s never really the same atmosphere in either the stadia or the pubs as a evening or 3pm kick off.

Fuck me, what horrible changes! Why so many lunch time kick-offs? If we have to play so many games on Sundays, at least put us in the 4:00p slot once in a while!

I can see I won’t be sleeping in very much this fall, every damn match is a 6 am kick-off or thereabouts.

I hope the £6.99 x 3 goes towards Lemar? 🙂

It is always difficult to watch matches on weekdays during office hours. Missed many CL matches due to this 02:45 PM slot.
