Cranky Colin

Absolutely no sign of Balogun

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

He hasn’t played in the league all season. Bringing him on for 8 mins today changes absolutely nothing in his development

Daveo

I guarantee if he was on the bench you would have said that it was a great sign. Getting “8 mins” in the EPL today would be been an amazing experience for him.

Aaron

Is Bellerin out injured?
Would have loved to see him considering this would be his farewell.

Graeb

Injured.

No foot Norbert

‘Injured’ and going to be sold anyway so even if he wasn’t why risk playing him

Frank

Not much point playing Odegaard unless we’re planning on keeping him

Johan

I reckon Saka needs the rest and with Auba and Pepe starting we need someone who can operate in small spaces and pass the ball.

Frank

Yeah but you could’ve played ESR in there and Martinelli on the wing

Nainsley Aitland Miles

I suspect we will try and keep him – whether permanent or at least a further 12 month loan.

Salah

Kroenke out.

Graeb

Josh will be at game today, make of that what you will.

allezkev

Does he know what colours Arsenal are playing in?

Up4GrabsNow!

Is Kroenke the problem or is has it been the underwhelming performances by Partey, Auba and Willian?

SarcasmB0t

Add Arteta and Edu to that.

Yes. Kroenke is the problem, because he’s hired those people and kept them in their jobs.

Don't Dada

Very interested in seeing how Bissouma plays today, considering the reports that his move to Arsenal is in the final stages.

Also, no sign of willian in the squad. Is he injured? Or is this some sort of indication that he is also leaving soon?

Johan

No Willian on the bench?

Johan

I’m by no means suggesting he should be there by the way, just surprised.

Arimnestos

Hopefully he’s off.

yen

Good sign pre summer.

Man Manny

We can’t afford to risk an injury at this point. He has to be fit for Inter Miami.

Hail Gus!

Fans back

The_Golden_Wrigglesworth

Looks like Arteta finally discovered where Willian had hidden those compromising photos.

Graeb

I think we need to see more goals from midfield players. Lots of attackers on bench which is good in case we need a goal. No Willian in sight, what does that say?

SarcasmB0t

It says Arteta knows the fans would boo him off the pitch.

RistoJ

Providing that we can beat Albion today, no easy task at all if they didn’t switch off already. Then the question is: is it really worth competing in Euro Conference leage? Distraction vs playing time for wannabes. What’s the general feeling?

Graeb

Always worth having St Totteringham’s Day 😄

RistoJ

Leapfrogging Spurs is always good, but then having to fly back from some remote corners of Europe on Thursday night is not really ideal – methinks

Graeb

Always good for geography knowledge – useful for Pointless answers😄

Serpent

One of the ”remote corners” will be Berlin (as Union Berlin took 7th place in the Bundesliga), so all parts of Europe are up for grabs.

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

Brighton.
3 points, finish 8th ahead of Tottenham and a Partey goal would be perfect

Graeb

2 out of 3 but that third is a bit remote

Brad

Like his shooting.

Man Manny

If we ever needed games to blood our youngsters, that time is now. The academy, I perceive, is going to be more vital in the coming years – as long as Kroenke is around. The conference League may just be the ideal setting to give Azeez, Balogun et. al, and our fringe players quality playing time next season. We’ve seen Saka, and to some extent, ESR blossom through the Europa League in recent seasons. For that reason alone, I think its worth it. Besides, it is a trophy; not gorgeous, but a trophy all the same. I don’t think we… Read more »

Spanish Gooner

I really hate how snobby people are about European competitions In England. We’ve won 2 European titles in our history and now we’re turning down a fantastic chance at another because it’s not the champions league, a competition we’ve never won. Also bear in mind that 2 Champions League spots will go to teams with a high coefficient that didn’t qualify in two years – at the minute that would be us and Juventus, but we need to keep qualifying and doing well in European competitions to keep it that way.

C.B.

Strong side, only Saka and arguably Mari could improve it (until all the fantastic signings we make in the summer…).

Der32

Arteta is saving Martinelli for the Olympics. What a man.

T.A.

Seems to me like Arteta is still unsure of his attacking formation.

Walter White

Hmm funny Saka is on the bench. Pepe has deserved the start though

Maul Person

So in that basis, why is it funny Saka’s on the bench?

Walter White

Because he has been in the lineup all season so I didn’t expect it.

Maul Person

Have you not paid attention to his last few performances? The guy needs a break. He was completely forgettable in the last game. So I didn’t think it a surprise at all.

gunnertron

Midfield masterclass today! COYG!

Pat Rice and Beans

Is Bellerin injured?

Arimnestos

He’s off as well, I suspect.

crazy gunner

Best outcome arsenal and everton win celebrate st totteringham’s day and avoid europa conference league!

Damo

Willian doesn’t even make the squad..is that telling or is he just injured?

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Telling.

Give youth a chance

My prediction:

Spurs and Everton drop points. We concede a last minute equaliser thanks to a bizarre VAR decision

Kareem Mohamed

That’s the best shot I’ve seen Partey do in an Arsenal shirt…

SarcasmB0t

Xhaka returns?

Wow, I wonder where Tierney will play, considering Mikel has his first choice left back again.

Jill

Really good first half even though it’s 0-0. Xhaka has been absolutely brilliant

backsakacrack

What game are you watching?
Decision making: awful
Pace of pass: tragic
He slows down our entire team

SB Still

ManC and Leicester have done the needful, we have to now score.

SB Still

Looks like we are ending season as 7th. Let’s win the inaugural Europa Conference.

Ofcourse, lets enjoy the return of Saint Totteringham’s Day 👏

Billy bob

I think it is safe to say Everton have lost, but both us and scum are drawing 😐

Merlin’s Panini

Ha! Come on Leicester!

RunningRayRunningdownthewing

Dumb fucks. Yes you Blog.

SarcasmB0t

Huh?
