Arsenal draw London City Lionesses in Fourth Round of the Women’s FA Cup

Arsenal have drawn London City Lionesses at home in the Fourth Round of the Women’s FA Cup. The Gunners were recently beaten in the 2021 Final- delayed till December due to the winter lockdown in the early part of 2021- by Chelsea at Wembley.

Arsenal have won the competition 14 times, far more than any other women’s team, but have not won it since 2016 and have lost their last two finals in 2018 and 2021- both to Chelsea. They will be hoping for better in 2022.

The Fourth round is when all WSL sides enter the competition. The tie is due to be played on 30th January at Meadow Park. Arsenal defeated London City Lionesses 4-0 in the Conti Cup last season with Vivianne Miedema scoring all four goals.

It only seemed a few days ago that we lost in final🤔…it was!

Dan

What are the chances of the time of this game being pushed to the evening to accomdate broadcast or something else?

My dad is interested in coming with me, esp as seem to be able to book a reserved seat in East Stand for this game, but only if it is an afternoon game, and with games being moved, as a newbie, i don’t know if an FA Cup game is as likely to get shoved about… any pointers?

thanks
