Arsenal’s match against Manchester City will now be played at 7.30pm on Wednesday 19 October.
The fixture has been brought forward 24 hours after Uefa confirmed City’s Champions League match with Borussia Dortmund will be played the following Tuesday rather than Wednesday.
In the UK, the match will be (legally) available on Amazon Prime Video.

Good that in that hellish month of fixtures, the “big games” in the PL are all at home. Hope the fans can create an atmosphere that gives us an edge.

That’s one way to look at it. The other is that in the home fixtures there is more of an imperative to take some points.
It will certainly be a huge game, although there will be others before then. It will give us a chance to see how much we’ve managed to close the gap on one of the obvious favourites for the PL title this season – and to see Haaland at The Emirates (although I hope we don’t see too much of him!).
They were lucky to escape with three points last season so hopefully, now we have a stronger squad, they will leave with their tails between their legs after a chastening defeat!!!

It is ridiculous that I could see/stream ALL PL games when I lived in India and in Germany (at least all Arsenal games) but not while I live in the UK. Completely ridiculous.

Same for me when I lived in the Middle East. All EPL games on beinsports. As well as Europa League, UCL, FA Cup. Here in the UK I’ve gone as far as Sky and Amazon Prime. No budget for BT Sport as well!
That’s all EPL games. So Arsenal every weekend. I do have some sympathy for the idea that in the UK that would have some effect on attendances across the leagues.
yeah it’s disgusting really. Hence why I stream every game and don’t pay anything except for my VPN. It’s ridiculous how much it costs in total and you still don’t get every game in the country that the games are being played in.
Hopefully one day there’ll be something fairer and more convenient but until there, I’m a pirate 😀

What’s with the Sunday 2pm non-televised games? If it’s not going to be on tv, why isn’t it at 3pm on a Saturday? I’m going to have two abysmal hangovers on Monday’s now. Thanks a lot premier league.
Because we will be playing the prior Thursday nights in the Europa League. Saturday 3pm is too short recovery time.
Let’s hope that this time the match day officials and VAR are normal reasonable human beings with normal reasonably functioning eyes.
