Strong team, good mix

Teryima Adi

True

Man Manny

A bit worried for Saka though. We need all our top guns fit and firing for the EPL. The next 3 games present an opportunity to really lay a marker for other top 4 contenders.
Marquinhos should have started for me. That astro turf!

Fenko

I think thevpkan is to hit them with some goals as quickly as possible and then Saka gets subbed to rest him. Hope it works. I trust the boys

Fenko

the plan*

C.B.

If we were playing CL he’d probably be playing twice a week.

Glory Hunter

Very strong team, Teta’s Giving Bodo Glimt all the respect they deserve after the game last week.

Chipper 49

My thoughts exactly. Hopefully we can quickly get the game secure and get people like Saka etc back off.

mjc1892

Nice team that, excited to see what Nelson can do with a start. I’d have definitely given White the game off, but I guess he didn’t play in the international break.

Interesting that it looks as though Odegaard will be playing cm alongside Sambi- at least supporting to a degree.

Jakeus

Interesting that its Saka over Marquinhos for this one – maybe its going to be Saka on the left to accommodate Nelson on the right?

Arun

Yeah, Nelson and Marquinhos together would be too inexperienced. Good to have Saka there, since Martinelli definitely needs a break.

Nainsley Aitland Miles

More likely is Odegaard playing his usual position, with Vieira taking Xhaka’s spot.

Graham

Odegaard came on in Xhaka’s role in the home game

Jakeus

C’mon Reiss – show that desire and talent. His potential is undeniable, and I hope we get to realize some of it before he heads for someplace new.

Anxious to see how he contributes. COYG!

The key to the Eu-ropey League is like rotisserie chicken: rotation, rotation, rotation.

A5000m555

Looks like he has rotated the regular first 11 players. Saliba, Odegaard and Saka did not start last Thursday. Gabriel, Xhaka and Martinelli who did start, are not starting today. Hopefully a good balance.

Mayor McCheese

Mmmmm…basted in its own fatty drippings. Yes, please!

Kiran

Great to see Nelson getting a start come on you Gunners

So in defence it’s Tierney holding white willy.

Gordy

Holding’s the bowler the batsman’s Willey

DDDD

I think the line was “the bowler’s Holding the batsman’s Willy

Arsepedant

The bowler’s Holding, the batsman’s Willey.

Collibosher

Lilley c Willey b Dilley.

Collibosher

Lilley Lillee

Boy Bastin

Enough already.

JohnIre

It’s taken a Turner for the worst.

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Tierney Turner at the back is Simply the Best.

John

Well, they better play it safe cos We Don’t Need Another Hero.

C.B.

Ike can agree with you.

Rvp

We need to recall Auston Trusty

Danny

Yeah but can we rely on him?

Vieiraera

😂🤦‍♂️

Der32

Who’s Ibrahim?

Ealing

Bradley Ibrahim
An energetic box-to-box midfielder with an eye for goal, Bradley enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season and became a regular at under-18 level, playing 24 times in the Academy league and scoring three times.

The tireless holding midfielder also made the step up to the under-23 side, playing three times in Premier League 2, and his good form earned him international recognition in the form of a call-up to the England under-18 side.

Bradley joined us from QPR aged 12, and signed his first professional contract with us in March 2022.

Fatgooner

Arteta should have given Tomi a start: he needs the games. But a nice strong side.

2-0 to the Arsenal this evening

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Just back from injury isn’t he. Played last Thursday and last Sunday, so 3 games in 8 days probably not wise.

I’ll go one better and say 3-0 to the Arsenal.

Fatgooner

He came on as a sub against the Pool. And he probably won’t play at the weekend. So today was a nice opportunity for some more match practice. Plus BW needs a rest.

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Tomiyasu played the full 90 against Liverpool – did you even watch the game? Salah couldn’t cope and got subbed off.

Fatgooner

Sorry! I forgot!!!

Nainsley Aitland Miles

I wasn’t sure if you were confusing Tomi with Tierney!

Man Manny

Where is Ethan Nwaneri?

JohnIre

Doing his homework.

chepetin

He’s got exams tomorrow….

Ealing

After school club and looking forward to half term

Nainsley Aitland Miles

He’s 15 years old, don’t expect to see him in the matchday squad on a regular basis, even only a handful of times again this season.

Rvp

He is a kid, perhaps his parents did not sign the travel permit in time

chepetin

Figured that Odegaard would start given that he is becoming a legend in Norway. The inclusion of Saka and Saliba surprises me. Maybe the hope is that we can score early and often and they can be subbed off at half time.

Salahs hemaroid

xhaka gets a well deserved rest excited to see odegard and veira together

Danny

Yeah me too. Things could get very technical.

Hurensohn

Strange that Cedric isn’t playing as he was in the squad last week too so presumably he’s fit enough to play. Arteta must really be cold on him if he doesn’t trust him against this lot given the schedule were managing…

Red-Wing

I mean, to be fair, aren’t we all? We’d all rather see him not playing if possible, this is actually really important match. White plays instead of Cedric, Tomi gets a rest, so that might also well mean that Tomi starts at RB on Sunday. So Tomi starts the next two matches, White gets a rest, and then the circle repeats. No problems here.

Wishawk

I think he is doing his coaching badge from the bench. 😉

Boy Bastin

It’s a strong team we’re putting out. I don’t think we should underestimate our opponents tonight though. Apparently, they are one game away from matching Barcelona’s record (15) of the most consecutive home victories in European competition. I think we’ll probably get the win, but we’ll need to be careful.
