KSE launch new department to net global partnerships

KSE has launched a new division to sell sponsorship across its full portfolio reports Sports Business Journal.

Arsenal stands alongside the LA Rams (NFL), Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Rapids (MLS) and Colorado Mammoth (NLL) as a key sports franchise. Emirates Stadium and London Colney are part of a broader real estate portfolio that includes SoFi Stadium (LA), Ball Arena (Colorado), Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (Colorado), as well as theatres, shopping centres, and a theme park.

The goal of the new division is to identify and secure partners interested in collaborating across the entire portfolio, rather than each franchise or entity handling these discussions independently. Partnership activations will still be managed regionally.

After two years as Commercial Director at Arsenal, Olly Dale is stepping up to become General Manager / Global Strategic Partnerships at Kroenke Signature Properties, a role he’ll share with Chris Sloan, who was Head of Global Partnerships for SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.

“We’re here to try to make it easy for global brands to take advantage of the size and scale KSE offers,” Dale said.

“We’re in a unique position where we can utilise the resources and expertise we’ve got all across the group, to offer something to brands that’s pretty unique in the marketplace.”

SBJ suggest that the most likely global partners would be technology vendors. That said, an agreement with Ball Corporation, launched in 2020, highlights the appeal of such contracts to other sectors.

Ensuring better synergy between its various entities has been a priority for KSE in recent years. As part of the summer’s pre-season tour of the US, Arsenal revealed former players, staff, and partners from across the KSE network were invited “for lunch and a panel discussion about their careers” to “share knowledge and spend time together.”

Nothing gets me hot under the collar like press release jargon…

Nacho de Montreal is tasty

Let me give you something interesting but hypothetical: If Elon Musk buys parts of KSE portfolio that includes Arsenal, how would that affect your dedication to the club? For me, it would be very challenging.

Johnny 4 Hats

Elon Musk is a pretty outspoken dude and I don’t think he gets everything right.

But, like it or not, he’s a complete and utter genius and one of the smartest humans on the planet.

So yeah, I’d have no problem with his involvement.

I think if you had ethical concerns, the name of our stadium and the name on the sleeve of our shirt would create more issues for you.

DOGE stadium and all unhappy fans will be banned from X and the Emirates.

Appelsenpere

Elon Musk is not a genius nor is he one of the smartest humans on the planet.

Johnny 4 Hats

I’ll happily admit that I don’t know a tonne about the guy.

But if you’re sending rockets into space, building affordable electric cars and helping blind people to see again, you’ve probably got a brain cell or two.

Torterrier

He isn’t doing that though, he pays a lot of highly skilled people to do it for him.

Johnny 4 Hats

Whereas I guess Steve Jobs was fiddling away on iPhones all day….

I think the sad truth is, if his political opinions lined with yours, then he would be a genius and a visionary.

But that’s the world we live in now.

Sephirothevic

He is a highly intelligent, cold, charimatic (for many) businessman and his father a very wealthy man who owns emerald mines. Family wealth enabled him to become an early investor in Tesla (smart!). He invented neither the Tesla nor the rockets. It’s all pretty well documented.

arseblog

But Musk is a flat-out racist who last night platformed the AfD (Germany’s far right party) during which their leader spouted that most obvious trope about Hitler and the Nazis actually being ‘socialist’.

I can’t imagine too many people who use this site would admit to their political opinions lining in defence of fascists and Nazis (the actual REAL LIFE WWII Nazis, for those who struggle to comprehend).

Double

Politics in a football chat, does anyone care is was hypothetical to start with. Plus is there much difference between fascists and socialists, I give you Stalin!

ClockEndRider

“Everything inside the state,
nothing outside the state
nothing against the state.”

Mussolini, the progenitor of fascism, defining it.

Much different from socialism?

ClockEndRider

Spot on.

Torterrier

First of all, it’s very strange that you assumed my political leanings due to my very brief response to you. You don’t know anything about me. Whichever side of the spectrum I sit politically, I am smart enough to realise that Elon Musk is a chancer who was born into extreme wealth and privilege, and who is now trying to disrupt the world order for his own personal gain.

Secondly, Steve Jobs was a very talented but also fortunate business man, while Steve Wozniak was the technical brain in the Apple operation. Jobs was lucky to have met Wozniak.

*Complete and utter moron. You’re out to lunch 4 hats. He’s bought everything created nothing. Mark my words, his current posturing and position himself is his push to be successor after Trump with the small brained MAGA manics.

Sephirothevic

Both the US president and VP have to be natural born k.. US citizens. I knew about the requirement for POTUS and looked it up for VP when Musk got big in the picture.

Daveo

*HAD to be born in US. Same as there were term limits. Trump is in power until he dies. US democracy is done and dusted the guardrails are off for the next trump presidency and he has total control of the judicial system now. He’s a dictator, no two ways about it. As someone living in Canada, I’m shitting my pants, and if Trump decides force is needed for Canada to be 51st state (he wants the vast water and mineral resources in Canada), no one is coming to help – Putin’s Ukraine excitements show that in plain sight.

Sephirothevic

Changing the Presidency and VP requirements would need an amendment to the US constitution. This requires a 2/3 majority in Congress. Simply not gonna happen any time soon.

No foot norbert

The biggest genius of Elon Musk is convincing so many people he’s a genius. He’s actually an insecure twat.

Bleeding Gums Murphy

The irony in your statement 😂

Unrelated, sorry, but I read something that suggested that Edu resigned because he disagreed with Arteta getting a 3 year contract and his “increasing influence”.

That sounds to me like bs intended to deflect attention away from KSE.

Chris

Not sure where you read, but pretty much every report I’ve seen is that Arteta and Edu got on really well and Edu was pleased about the contract. But Edu for himself felt was time for a change and that being in charge of a multi club network was step up from being a director at one club. Plus the pay rise was significant which am sure helped!

karl g

There are very few sources I read and trust on Arsenal. Usually you won’t find inflammatory headlines and spectacular transfer stories, because those lines are only to drive clicks.

Magneto

It’s media BS intended to put unnecessary pressure on Arteta, to build/develop dissent amongst our fanbase, and of course to increase traffic to whichever platform that you read it on.

Bobbert

I believe Dicks sporting goods park is owned by commerce city colorado, not the kroenkes, who only lease it.

Denver Gunner

this is accurate. Operated by KSE but owned by Commerce City.

Giuseppe Hovno

Dick (‘s Sporting Goods), Ball and Arse(nal).

I honestly had to check it wasn’t 1st April

The_Golden_Wrigglesworth

Hearing unconfirmed rumours that Kench Allenby will be brought in as a Synergy Consultant.

Sephirothevic

THE Kench Allenby?!?!

Qwaliteee

All well and good, ‘pard’ners’….

Now, how about a world class striker, to erm, you know, improve the ‘brand’….

Have a nice day.

El Mintero

Caption contest: which one’s Arteta again?

Dari

Doesn’t he own the Colorado Rapids as well? They aren’t listed in the article.

George

Yes. The Rapids are mentioned in the linked article.

Hi-brid

Disclosure: I don’t really understand business speak.

truj

Some words on yesterday’s Blog. “The failure of the Pepe, Lacazette and Aubameyang trio hamstrung Arsenal for a couple of years, not one of those players fetched a fee in return either.” Just take a look at the latter two’s numbers. I never call it any kind of failure. They faded in the last seasons and there was the right time for a change.

ClockEndRider

How much will Salah and Van Dyke fetch? Have they been successful?
You just can’t stop people from taking facts and making of them what suits…..
