Napoli: Rafael, Maggio, Fernandez, Armero, Albiol, Callejon, Dzemalli, Behrahmi, Mertens, Higuain, Pandev
Subs: Colombo, Uvini, Britos, Cannavaro, Inler, Insigne, Zapata
Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Flamini, Arteta, Rosicky, Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud
Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Monreal, Wilshere, Ramsey, Walcott, Bendtner
Would have liked to see our Wizard get a rest and Walcott start.. hopefully that will be the 60 minute sub.

If Wenger had been doing his homework he would have known to start theo. Napoli are vulnerable on the counter but then again who am i?
Quite.
I’m not sure Özil needs the rest to be honest. He doesn’t have a massive workload in the team like Giroud or Ramsey, and he can still kill teams without being completely 100% fighting fit. I think he’s exactly the kind of player you want for a match like this.
Can’t argue with the line up. Ramsey needed a rest, and the rest need to step up.
DAT Depth
Would have liked to see Tommy V get a run out.
GET INNNN!
I really wish Theo could start
Still no vermaelen..??? Why ???
I’m afraid he won’t get any game time unless one of our first-choice CB partnership get injured or it’s the f.a cup. It’s unfortunate because I think he’s a great player, but I’m happy as long as we have a stable partnership
Walcott should have been in the starting 11, we could have harmed them on the counter attack better…..
I’d rather bring on a Theo who is making his way back from injury start from the 60th minute mark against tired legs. Look at Everton as a case in point.
If we go a goal down, he can come on and start running at their slightly out of breath defence.
Harmed
Would have liked to have rested Giroud tonight and given Walcott a go to see if we need a striker come January or whether Walcott is the striker he claims he is.
People keep saying this and every time he is played as a lone forward, he goes missing. Keep him on the wing, where he is actually pretty damn effective.
Interesting
Would have preferred to see Walcott start, but Cazorla’s been improving. And really, with our depth in midfield, we’re giong to get a good performance no matter who we put out there.
* going
Methinks that Walcotts swift incisions into the box shine in an even better light when the opposition’s legs are tired, i.e. from the 70th minute onwards.
After this afternoon’s sludge fest in ‘stanbul, I am looking forward to a dry and firm pitch. Let the game begin!

We are the king’s of away matches in the history of the Champions league, we’ve won at madrid, milan, munich, turin, turkey, iduna park? just name it! I think none of these pundits have taken note of this. Arsenal! King’s of away matches! Coyg!
When it comes to Arsenal, pundits don’t take anything other than grudges into account. Sod ’em.
Come on the arsenal fc,
Would have liked to have seen Giroud start from the bench but can’t argue with anything else
big big game for jenks. flamini will be keeping a protective leg wrapped around anyone wot gets too near. 3-1 arsenal. top of the group. galatasaray next round? why not.
Good to see Ramesses get a rest. Looking forward to see how this works out
what I love is what a completely different midfield flamini, arteta and rosicky is to arteta, ramsey and wilshire. its amazing how we can completely transform our mid like that yet retain stability. i’m not sure I can think of another team that can do that.
i mean in sense that it poses a completely different set of problems for the opp. it has a unique flavour. unique attributes.
Gibbs starts? Then monreal will surely play against navas on saturday
Ozil the undroppable.
Wenger opting for experience tonight, shrewd.
Good luck arsenal. We need to win the group. Hope none of the players get injured because we are in a difficult run of fixtures.
Good solid mature side except Jenkinson should be able to see this out. Come on you Gunners
people need to chill out.
1. calm down, everything will be alright
2. the lineup is fine. everything will be alright.
3. stop jinxing the living hell out of the team with all your previous stats and whatnots.
4. enough about walcott, he’s had 2 matches to his name thus far and has a ton of rust to clear off. not the time to “test” things out and “give players a run.” everything will be alright.
notice i believe in jinxing, so its your turn to tell me ‘everything will….”
The side we have out there shouldn’t lose 3-0, but we have options if things aren’t looking good. Sagna back in training today is good news for Saturday hopefully
A mature midfield from AW
Jenks is no sagna
We depend on Cazorla to step it up in the second half COG!
This has to be the most boring Arsenal game ive ever watched in a while.
Red for Arteta another cheating ref on the take.
Already on a yellow not the best tackle.
Very poor.
Shite result and poor prep for the weekend
Arsenal will now face Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern or Atletico…
Couple of months away from the next round. Lets get back to having a great run in the league.
We have made things very hard for ourselves. Again.
We showed no desire. We seemed happy finishing second. We needed to top our group. A very difficult tie awaits.
Well that’s not the way to prepare for citeh!
the return of the boring arsenal? we are lucky to go through napoli deserved better. no enthusiasm, no drive , the back four couldn’t hold on on its own. very poor. scared of the game against shitty. if we play that way aguero and co will trashed us. the team look tired . no attacking options . giroud need some support.
Pliz arsenwanger don’t sleep please full up your socks
