Mathieu Flamini and Wojciech Szczesny have urged their Arsenal teammates to fight their way through a relatively fallow period of form and start racking up the points again in the Premier League.
The Gunners have failed to win any of their last 3 in the domestic competition, while defeat at Napoli in the middle of that means the 2-0 over Hull on December 4th was the last win.
But with so many games to play, there’s a chance to put things right and continue the fight for the title.
“I think over Christmas time you separate the men from the boys,” Szczesny told Arsenal Player. “Over the last couple of seasons we haven’t done very well at Christmas time so being near the top of the table will give us a big motivation to push even harder this time and make sure that we get the results.
“But it’s very tough, you play every two or three days and you need to rotate your team.”
While Flamini added, “Everybody knows in December and January playing so many games means your position in the Premier League plays a big part.
“Of course it will be important to stay focused, to concentrate and make sure we go through this period as good as possible.”
Arsene Wenger is set to rotate his team a little bit today with the likes of Santi Cazorla and Flamini himself ready for action, while Lukas Podolski will be itching for his first game since the end of August.

If you ask me, I’ld pretty much be happier if Liverpool win at the etihad(albeit its unlikely) then draw against chelsea, or the best scenario ‘liverpool draw their next 2 games against city and chelsea’ that would be just fine for us
