Pictures from training this morning show Laurent Koscielny taking a full part in the session, which means he’ll be ready make the trip to Munich.
The French international was left out of the weekend FA Cup game against Everton after a ‘tight hamstring’ kept him out of France’s friendly.
Although Thomas Vermaelen came back into the side and acquitted himself well, he’s expected to make way so the Mertesacker/Koscielny partnership can continue.
However, the captain could find himself deployed at left-back as there are worries about Kieran Gibbs who was substituted late in the game against Everton on Saturday.

TV5 is a good player..
Dnt sell him to any body in this summer..he is our captian and is very very good too..but at the moment..BFG and lolo should not be replaced..
What would be amazing if somehow Ramsey made it to the bench, comes on around 65, and just goes apeshit bananas!

I like TV5 but he would be a liability at left back I fear.
I wouldn’t mind starting Monreal at left back and Gibbs at left mid. We had so much trouble down that side in the last game, plus Gibbs is pretty handy going forward.
That’s great, but I was hoping to see a certain Welshman in the training photos today.

Vermaelen played emergency LB last season when we played Bayern and it didn’t go well at all. About the last team (Robben , Muller) that you want a makeshift FB against.
Then again, I’d rather Gibbs was kept in cotton wool for the league and FA Cup games, as he’s too injury prone to risk. I hope Koscielny’s not being rushed back as there’s a need to play Thomas at LB?
any word on Gibbs at the moment? is he ok and did he train?
Sky Sports are reporting that Gibbs has a calf problem and missed training today, and reckon Jenkinson could start at LB:

Pace for what.. jenks won’t be much use with is pace on the left because he won’t be able to overlap and cross.. he is a right footer remember.. and there is a good chance the Bayern players will turn him inside out because of his lack of positional awareness on that side.. best to stick the left footer, more experienced, captain of the football club, the man dubbed as the savior a couple of seasons back, TV5!!!!..
