Remember last season when everyone was saying how we had just the one striker and how knackered he was by April/May. Remember everyone saying what a state we’d be in if he got injured. Well, Giroud’s just come back from the World Cup and he’s not quite as fit as Wenger would like. Perhaps Shad Forsythe had some input too.
Giroud’s on the bench and it’s Crystal Palace not Chelsea, so I don’t think anyone should read much into this.

I don’t think Sanogo should be starting. He showed last weekend that he’s not at the required level yet.
Even though HFB is not 100% fit yet, he would still edge it for me.
