Premier League trio chase Gnabry loan

A trio of Premier League clubs are eager to sign Serge Gnabry on a season-long loan, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 19-year-old winger showed flashes of his potential during his 15 appearances for the Gunners last term and could be allowed to leave the Emirates on a temporary arrangement so long as the interested parties offer him regular first team football.

Southampton, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are believed to have contacted Arsene Wenger about the German youth international’s availability.

Given Theo Walcott’s imminent return and the fact Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez, Tomas Rosicky, Santi Cazorla, Lukas Podolski and Joel Campbell are all potential wide options, it does look as though Gnabry has his work cut out securing a first team berth at the moment.

In that respect a loan move certainly makes sense.

Southampton were mooted as a potential destination when the Calum Chambers deal took place and if Arseblog News was picking we’d certainly say that’s a better option than sharing a shower with a becapped Tony Pulis or a dressing room with Alain Pardieu.

I woke up this morning with a slew of rumours connecting Cavani to us! Give us the poo take on this one!!

Kolololo

THE POO-METER IS OFF THE CHARTS!!!! OH MY GOD! IT’S EVERYWHERE! SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

lonsdale

Shit just hit the fan.

Merkesacker

Midden + windmill

alex

Yep think opportunities will be limited this season but with a good season under his best he could be a genuine first teamer in a year’s time. Good to see a number of teams are interested… but please not Pubis

Groove

To be fair, Pulis seems to have become less of an angry orc leader since he moved to Palace. I know he’s hated because of his cloggers at Stoke, but when he moved to Palace last year he did transform them. Properly. They were an attacking side, which was really unexpected.

Credit where it’s due, he actually impressed me last season. Hopefully he has permanently changed his ways.

I do hate that cap though.

Giroud Awakening

Pulis at Stoke is a lot different to Pulis at Palace. Palace actually play a decent brand of football for a bottom half table club. Their team is built around pacey wingers and good link up play with Chamakh, I think Gnabry would come on a lot at Palace in particular.

Gunner From Another Mother

If Gnabry gets a good year of first team football elsewhere, he could be a great replacement for Podolski next season, as it wouldn’t surprise me to see ol’ Poldi move elsewhere around then. Not that I ever want to see him leave : (

Edu's Braces

Id go for Southampton. Koeman and their dynamic play, also we kind of owe them. (Yes I know we paid for their players but still).

Xhani

Gnabry has so much potential, hope he fulfills it with us in the future!

N5

What a player. So long as he gets regular football, this is the right move.

heavens

Man those poos are so cuuuute!!

rossi88

Think he will be a very good player, hopefully we’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the next couple of years.

Left Facing Cannon

A season at Southampton would be ideal.

Ironny

Definitely rather he went to Southampton under “Do I not like that” Koeman. The only one of those three that might teach him some technical skills.

Gunnar

I can definitely see him serging forward our right flank in the future

cheekyjc

He would certainly Gnabry a bad option to have in future

GGGA

His Serge in form is Gnabry important for our future, yes… *gets coat, damn storm today

Zino

One of the most exciting youngsters. A season loan seems to me the best move. And I have no doubt he’ll shine wherever he goes.

AllGunsABlazin

Hopefully he’ll be able to Gnab a starting spot at Southampton, I hear they’re a little short on players down there.

gar14

As long as he plays regularly, I’d be happy with any of those clubs

Was Born a Gooner

Gnabry, Please join the Saints and keep teaching the Cold-Spuds football lessons like you did while with us… But… Personally think a loan deal to Dortmund after we have gotten Reus would be perfect!!! Ahem! *Rubs Eyes*… He gets to play in the champions league and league football in his native Germany and a chance to play with Gondugan and against Bayern Munchen… I personally think he’s ready for such a stage with what I saw last season… Such a fantastic player… Well, Reus>Gnabry (Loan) is just another dream… and Wenger gave me the right to dream when he got… Read more »

adarsh

yup…could help us get schniderlin… he clearly wants to leave…

Fatfatbuddha

John Terry is a cunt.

up4grabs

I guess people have finally given up on the “Terry is a cunt” phrase.

Soqed Hozi

What about Swansea? Definitely seen them linked with a loan move too.

Panther

I think a season long loan is perfect for Gnabry at the moment and I have no doubt he would feature quite a lot, for the three clubs interested in him.

Gooner '75

Just brimg on €ity $cum!!

frillzy

Giroud awakening the s absolutely right. I would add that as well as palace being a decent team, southhampton are nowhere near hhe proposition that they were last season. Their first team squad has been decimated by the bigger clubs and pochettino has gone as well. Koeman may be brilliant there but who’s to know. Palace are a safer option for gnabrys development as fat as I’m concerned. But as long as he gets regular first team football then I for one will not be complaining.

Giroud Awakening

If he goes to Southampton he will be a Liverpool man by next season

I'm so ronery

Send him to Everton. They’re looking for a winger and Martinez is an awesome coach.

Tom

If I were Wenger, I would have loaned him to Southampton out of sheer sympathy towards that team. Gnabry will definitely be a good addition for anybody who takes him!

texasgooner

A loan will definitely be good for him.

Calum

Afternoon guys, Palace fan here. Congrats on the community shield, squad’s looking in fantastic shape and I hope that after all the years of you losing your best players and the barren years apres-Emirates that you continue to fight for trophies for years to come! Well run club. Just thought I’d point out that despite the common consensus that Pulis’ teams can’t play, that our build-up play, movement and team chemistry improved immensely after Holloway jumped. I mean, when he was at Blackpool he got alot of wrongful admirers in my opinion, they played gung-ho and although it was entertaining,… Read more »

Abhyuday

I agree with Calum. He should go to a team which likes to play via the wings. And pulis will make him work his socks off. Get him tactically sound for the league. Win Win.

WengersNoseHair

Good luck Meister Gnabry.
