Not what I was expecting but COYG nonetheless!
What will it take for either Rosicky or Podolski to start?
Proving they are better than someone in the starting 11?

Podolski hasn’t really impressed when he has come on.
Because Wenger is God and is never wrong therefore it must be podolski and rosicky doing something wrong. What a brilliant conclusion. But Ramsey and carzola who have been recently out of form are doing absolutely no wrong.
Well, going by what we’ve seen from Poldi in games over the lat 18 months then he isn’t good enough to displace anyone from the starting XI. No idea why Rosicky isn’t playing, but we are pretty well stocked in his position, and Poldi’s for that matter.

Once Poldis work rate and ability to play with his back to goal improve exponentially then he will start. Having a left foot and a love of social media is not enough. Rosicky has not had many chances but in the chances he has had he has not been great.
And when Mr Wenger is criticized for not mixing team tactics up, he comes up with this. I am sure of a strong defensive performance. But going foward, can the team gel? 90 minutes will tell. Coyg’s

Rested. I’m glad they are. Some others need a rest as well, particularly Alexis, but you can’t rotate an entire team.

I like it….Potentially tons of strength up front with Giroud and Welbz. Excited to see how they link up. C’mon Arsenal.

Probably not.
I suspect a 4-4-2 when we have possession but as soon as we lose it welbeck moves to the left or right of midfield as we all know that his work rate is superb.
So two of our best performers in midweek Ox & Gibbs dropped. Welbeck who was doubtful with a knock, plays in the position he doesn’t want to, when Ox is better there anyway! FFS wenger!
I do agree to an extent, especially about the ox. I do suspect however that the recent additions to the injury list may have scared Wenger a bit.
I bet Welbeck is deployed on the left and Alexis behind Giroud. Surprised Ox isn’t starting, given his form.
too many players with affinity to come to play narrow. Danny, Giroud, Alexis, Flamini, Ramsey, Cazorla non like it on the wings….perhaps Arsne knows, we’ll know after the game

It will be sad to watch welbeck on the left when there are three left wingers on the bench plus that not the iidealplacr to put a potential striker struggling for goals. Just hope we win tho. Coyg!!
