Arsenal’s FA Cup 3rd round tie with Hull City will be televised by BBC 1 at 5.30pm on Sunday 4th January.
As some of you may remember we played the Tigers in the FA Cup final back in May. And we won. And there was a trophy. And beer. And then a parade. And more beer. And it was lovely. Really, really lovely…
Seems like a long time ago now.
This will likely be a more sedate affair, what with it being January and cold and only the third round. But it does give us an excuse to repeatedly chant:
“2-0 down
3-2 up
Aaron Ramsey
won the cup”
Aaron probably won’t be playing as he’s crocked his hamstring, but it’ll likely still get on Steve Bruce’s Mrs Doubtfire-esque tits so we should sing it heartily.
This year again, this might be our best chance of Silverware, let’s go for it.
Yea I’m certain it is. You’d have to go back to ’09/’10 to find the last time we won a CL group and, not coincidentally, the last time we made it out of the first round.
Hey, maybe we’ll get lucky and draw Monaco, then Wenger can sign to coach both teams and put us through.
Actually we won our Champions League group in 2011-2012 as well. But our luck has been so rotten in the draw, that we still ended up with AC Milan.

Wrong match vs ac milan. It’s the one where we lost 4-0 away and almost made a historic comeback at home(4-3 on aggregate).
