Whilst I appreciate the video does anyone else feel weird seeing the “terry” and “afc” together?
Hahahaha, John Terry, ruining a perfectly good name much like Adolf did Hitler.
I like him. Once he tunes in to the physicality of the English game, I’d like to see him develop a howitzer shooting style. We all love the touch and go magic of an Arsenal attack but, sometimes – we just need someone to put their foot through it from 20/5 yards with enough power to either break the net or too much for a keeper to handle, leading to some follow in finishes.
Felt him and Coq developed quite the formidable midfield guard.
Ox would do well to learn from Elneny if he ever wants to be a cm. you’ll notice that Elneny hardly ever takes more than 2-3 touches in dangerous areas. In a team seemingly full of dribblers, he’s just what we need.
Really solid debut I thought. Neat and tidy, always showed for the ball, not scared to shoot, but didn’t try too hard to be over spectacular. Seemed to fit right in and looks like a natural Arsenal player.
This guy is a beast……..
P.S»»» Am sorry am only judging from the pix i am unable to watch the video to justify the claim. COYG
Looks like a younger, more mobile version of Arteta. Just what the team needs as Ramsey, Coq and Flamini aren’t really known for their passing skills and Arteta himself is nearing retirement. Seems like he is a natural box-to-box but can play deeper too as Wenger mentioned.
Don’t agree about Coq though. Coq is not just a pressing-tackling machine, he is one of the better passer in the team. Granted not one of the creative type though, be he uses and recycles the ball well.
Good job Ramsey didn’t play (Blogs knows…)
RIP Terry Wogan
He has the ability to receive the ball while facing his own goal, something which we’ve struggled with lately. He picks out the third-man run well with a good first-time ball and has excellent technique on his shot from deep. Hope he continues to improve.
Impressive debut for the lad, he’s always open for a pass and plays from deep, not shy to go forward and lights shots from outside every once in a while!
forgive me tho but amidst all these I’m more psyched about iwobi…. that lad is gooooooood!
Nice music for a change, i normally play these on mute due to that EDM Dubmash or whatever it’s called they put over it with a volume of x5. Anyway what a guy! Competition for places is hotting up now, let’s smash this annual 10 game win streak.
Terry AFC always has great tunes playing. So many times I came back and watched videos just for how well edited everything is.
He seems happy enough to hang back. That’s just what we need!.
Calm in possession and likely to dictate pace of the game the more he plays.
Well chuffed.
Oy 1 game, but so far so good. Allt of potential. Loves his one 2s, has a good strike on him, wants the ball alot, and when he gets it hel pass it off and move into a position looking for it again. And seems to realise when to just sit. Could be a great signing if he keeps it up.
Looks like he’s made to play for Arsenal that’s for sure!
Would like to see him and coq playing together consistently
Cech

Walcott
Front four worked well before and with a good base behind it could be even better
That front four was immense against Bayern at home. Did they also start against United?
The video missed his 94th minute run with him wide open for a tap in when Walcott runs straight into the goalkeeper.
The guy can certainly run.
