More Premier League action today as we look to back into third with a win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Here are the official line-ups.
Sunderland: Mannone, Yedlin, van Aanholt, Kaboul, Kone, Kirchhoff, M’Vila, Cattermole, Borini, Khazri, Defoe
Subs: Pickford, Jones, Larsson, Rodwell, N’Doye, O’Shea, Watmore.
Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Elneny, Ramsey, Ozil, Alexis, Iwobi, Giroud
Subs: Ospina, Gabriel, Coquelin, Wilshere, Walcott, Welbeck, Campbell
Welcome back, Jack!
Can’t wait to see Wilshere back on the pitch.
I would maybe change Giroud with Welbeck, but otherwise it’s okay.
Same again performance wise it’ll be three points in the bag. 20 minute turn out for Jack as well. Happy days!
Can see it now. Comes off the bench today plays the game of his life. Next 3 games same thing then he goes to the euros comes back missing a leg an eye and his hair
Sounds like a wild night! 😉
Just kidding, love you, Jack <3
unchanged, wow a bit surprised by that.
COYG!!! 3 points a must. Sunderland’s my dad’s team; they’ll have enough games left to stay up despite losing to us today, muhahaha.
Must win boys, gd luck..COYG
All the best Jack, not asking for much. Stay fit and have a great Euros!
If Giroud doesn’t cut it then let’s have Danny on before 70 minutes please!
I actually back Arsene on his decision to start Giroud. Think he’ll get a hatrick today. That is, if we open them up and score early.
I hope you are right!
Six yards from goal great opportunity. Heads it back to someone else. Erm goal scoring is an art he is struggling to remember
Nice to see Jack but we really missed that Automatism guy. I think he played for us last season. Per knew him I reckon .
Let’s kick some ass today!
Liking the start for Iwobi also!
Don’t think Giroud should be starting but I’ll be happy to be proven wrong.
Same with Rambo, I hope he has a stormer because they’re usually match winning when he does but I can’t help but feel it’s the wrong decision.
The love affair with Ramsey goes on.What a fucking joke
He had a good last game to be fair but I know what you mean.
Agreed he played well against west Brom. Woeful today though. Thought we were still wearing red and white because that is all he passed to all game.
Let’s help Big Sam’s big ass get relegated.
Come on you Gunners.
Walcott on the bench why? He can run around anywhere ,leave him at home Wenger
Super Jack is back!!
I have just noticed, Mike Dean is the ref!! 🙁
Gd to hear j wilshere a good subs bench in jol, welbeck and theo or wilshere come on you gunners.
If Monreal gets injured in the first half…..What do we do??
Gabriel comes in then. He can play in that position. He did it a few times when he played for Villarreal.
I thought Coq would have come back in what with Sunderland’s physical presence.
No Chambers either on the bench. Need a bit more defensive cover.
I suppose Ramsey was a lot more defensively disciplined than usual.
COYG!
Ramsey and Elneny looked like a solid partnership on Thursday so no surprise they keep their places, hope they can build on that!
Can’t believe that Campbell can’t get a start. While Iwobi has been good he does not deserve being ahead of him yet. Although I’d prefer having them both, each on the wing, with Alexis upfront. Welbeck will be great for us but needs to learn to be more deadly in front of goal.
And, Giroud and Ramsey?? Really? Maan..
Where is rosicky
Where is rosicky? Come on..
Giroud is having a pants game time to bring on welbeck or Campbell but NOT Theo
Crumbs this is pony!!! Just waiting for the inevitable Sunderland goal that hits mert on the head, spins off the underside of the cross bar and bounces back in off merts backside!!!!
Well that was so depressing
Well, that was total shit.
Goodbye fourth place, hello Thursday night football. Who’s gonna want to play for us now?
And in third place (drum roll) we have man city!!! Anyone surprised by that turgid display?
Another feeble effort. This time against a relegation team.
We have no one to finish, Ozil hasn’t had an assist in at least 10 games and looked knackered, and we bring on Walcott to save the day? If we played the first half of the season like the 2nd half we be in the bottom half of the table. A bunch of harmless, meaningless midfield passing with no dangerous end product. Dreadful stuff really. This was Sunderland folks….we couldn’t create against Sunderland. Ah, to hell with it!
