What pisses me off about AW’s comments is that it proves how unorganized our club really is. Organisation means people doing the jobs they are assigned to do, and do them efficiently. Wenger is talking about 600 employees.. That is not his job description. That is the responsibility of a CEO. Wenger is a head coach ffs. Does he not understand his job is ensuring the fucken team are competitive, not whether the bloody janitor is doing alright.. Although maybe it would be worth mentioning if AW is going to drag 600 employees into the fight, why doesn’t Arsenal pay… Read more »

Wasn’t there a whole situation in the last couple of years where Arsenal weren’t paying the living wage to all its employees?
I think Wenger is right and that there is a lack of players available to improve Arsenal. Of those that are good enough, either their clubs refuse to sell, or they don’t want to come to Arsenal. Wenger showed by bidding for Suarez, Vardy and Lacazette that he is willing to spend a lot of money, and these failed attempts show that clubs and players often turn Arsenal down when they make a bid. Probably there have been other bids that we don’t know about, and Arsenal’s veil of secrecy over transfers is often mistaken for inaction. Players like Benzema… Read more »
That makes a lot of sense Coy Smile until you tot up the players we’ve missed out on for the sake of a few million – Alonso, Cahill, Suarez, Higuain etc.
And you’re right that we’ve been unlucky with the injuries to Per and Gabriel. But there’s been plenty of time to replace them! That’s the whole point. If we’re interested in Mustafi why on earth haven’t we done the business by now?! It’s ridiculous and makes the club look bad.

For any progress in Arsenal we need to lose Wenger, Walcott and Ramsey. They are lovely people but we will not go anywhere with them. I respect Wenger a lot but you need someone ruthless to win the PL. Wenger will never win the PL again.

Well said Gunnerblog.
The thing that gets me is we would all like to see superstar signings. But if we can’t do that then we just need to make some signings!
Ffs Scott Dann and Troy Deeney would be better than nothing.
We’ve now got dropped 5 points. What’s the betting we’ll be 5 points of the leaders come May?
Spot-on James, nice review.
