Niles must have done something in training that impressed that we dun see or know of. Hope he will also be able to get some minutes after we sweep Boro off in the first half.

We’ve got 3 top class defensive midfielders, it’s nice to see them all getting a bit of the action.
Strange, there are some players you can’t have a enough of- ELenny, Holding and Perez more of them please Le professor.
Not sure if Elneny and Coq works. Elneny would’ve worked best with Xhaka but he’s not available. I wonder who will provide the creative initiator in midfield?
Imo if Elneny opens up more and displays a real creative force, then I would be very worried if I were Ramsey.
That is a bit of a concern. The pacy attack should give them something to think about though. Didn’t have that last year.

Bournemouth look a decent side. Good to see Jack playing 90 mins,
Elneny is a versatile player and can play either role of the two DMs, though of late Coquelin has been venturing forward much more this year. I expect to see them rotating who goes with the attack and who covers behind. Even though it’s a thin bench in terms of two you players with no experience we still have two experienced defenders (and Gibbs can play midfield) along with Chamberlin (who go into defensive mid if need be) along with Perez who can come in at wing or forward so we should be fine.
