Arsenal face Bulgarian side Ludogorets in the Champions League tomorrow evening. Here are some of the pictures from today’s training session ahead of that game.
Good to see Ramsey and Giroud training. I know Wenger said they were in his press conference but always good to have in the flesh proof that they’re not in a leg brace somewhere!
That means just Welbz and the BFG in the treatment room now. And no offense to Mert but with Mustafi playing so well and Gabriel and Holding as backup, I don’t see him having much affect on the team from now on. Can’t wait for Welbeck to come back though, we’ll have so many attacking options it’ll be ridiculous!
Don’t get these people who keep harping on about how BFG is redundant when Gabriel is as yet not completely convincing.
That said Per likely in last season (given Captain’s armband…it’s like the gold rolex I suppose)
Gabriel certainly has a good opportunity to stake a claim over BFG with Per injured till next season. Hope he convinces because Holding is looking very accomplished for a young lad.

Anyone else expected an actual train with an arsenal logo
No Debuchy in these – I know it seems really early, but are we going to see Jenko get minutes to give Bellerin a breather? I’d expect see him in the domestic cup first, but I do wonder.
I think there is a bit of a competition going on for second spot Rback. Chambers may well revert to his natural position at Rback (which is where he played with aplomp for Soton) Going out on loan is one way Wenger ensures a player gets sharp…Coquelin, Campbell, indeed Jenko. OTOH its a two track scenario. Jenkinson is back in the fold this season and may get sporadic opportunities. So you get either close to the first team or out on loan and hopefully more frequent competitive games to advance your cause. At end of season, likely Wenger will revisit… Read more »

So many meme-able pictures
Bellerin to Ox

would take Mert over Gabriel. Wonder if we’re going to lend out Holding in Jan, the kid needs to be playing.
welbz would look great subbing in for Sanchez. Iwobi Welbz and Walcott would be a great front 3.
Presently, I’d still take an injured Mertesacker over Gabriel, so I’d say he has plenty left to offer the side.
Otherwise agree, good to have both Giroud and Ramsey training again.
BFG over Gabriel.

Nope, just you.
Haha…Koscielny doing the Ozil thing
Love that
Zoolander style
You know Giroud is going to flick that behind his standing leg to the dummy behind him.
WHERE IS SANOGO!?
I HAVE NO IDEA
WHY ARE WE SHOUTING?
I HAVE NO IDEA
LOUD NOISES

Hard to take Bellerin out at the moment.
Good to see the Ox and Jenko back together. After what has happened with Brad and Angelina, I think they are my favourite celebrity couple.

Right back atcha!
I see Sanchez is as happy to score in training as he is in a real match.
Giroud’s toes are looking good.
I love how Bouldy resembles an irate headmaster as he watches Alexis enjoy himself.
