Arsene Wenger had his full squad together for the first time since the Interlull, ahead of tomorrow’s crucial clash with Manchester United.
Here are some of the pictures from today’s training, and as you can see Alexis Sanchez looks to have played a full part in the session, giving his chances of starting tomorrow at Old Trafford a boost.
Glad to see it, we are going to need him.
I do worry about the lack of Bellerin, he is so often the out ball for our midfield. Step up Corporal!
jenkinson was struggling last match against ludogorets or whatere their name is . his marking was not good and he was constantly fouling players, be was lucky to escape a red card. i worry about that position. mourinho is smart , he will unleash rashford or martial is that position. just hope jenkison steps up to the challenge. and i think we should start ramsey at right wing for more protection and shift walcot to left. it will take some sting of our attack but atleast we will be more solid.
OOh no, ticked wrong box by accident. Ramsey for protection?? The last time Ramsey was any good defensively was when Arteta played next to him! Theo is far better defensively this season, let’s hope Mel can hang on till Sunday!
It was Ramsey that left him widely exposed. Yes, he could get a red that game, by far not entirely his fault.
Great to see Alexis back. Let’s destroy Manure! #COYG
At first glance, Xhaka looked to have a go go gadget leg.
AW: Everyone focus on Mourinho, once he lands, give him a kick right back up. Well done, great team work! (5th image)
I’m sorry, but how is Alexis not boiling? What? It’s not THAT cold out yet!
Anyway great news, looking forward to the game
Probably because he’s from Chile, where it’s considerably hotter than England.
Probably to cover the massive strapping around his hamstring and to keep the heat in the muscle to stop it going Ping!
boss’ pet ozil
Koscielny’s foot makes no sense in the picture of him, Jenkinson and Monreal.
It’s such a weird photo–it makes me think of a shot from the opening credits of one of those cheesy ’80s sitcoms. Now they need to all look up to the camera and smile goofily and shrug.
What did his foot say??
If he he’s truly back, maybe we ought to consider hiring someone from the Chile medical staff.
Alexis seems to avoid medical staff and continually declares himself fit though. Maybe that’s his secret!
Top corner from Xhaka in the last picture!
If we go on bib colour coq and elneny start, granit on bench and Sanchez starts after a change of mind by Wenger on his fitness.
i hope you are right. i think with Elneny and Coq we can have a strong midfield and give Ozil and Co license to cause mayhem to the Manure
🙂
Wow Kos and his obsession with Rabonas has life in it yet. Not sure why Jenks is giving him a kick so close to a big game ?
Just how cold is it today in England? They’re all padded up like Eskimoes!
it’s a bit parky mate.
I am genuinely worried but only because of the recent results up there, on current form we should take 3 points home comfortably. It’s just that nagging feeling that we just struggle so much up there for some odd reason.
Come on you Gunners, time to move on!!
