He’s a bit disappointed. As we all are, though roll on United, let’s do them.
A bit hectic, disjointed, not quite ourselves, not playing out from the back etc etc
Basically we missed Santi.
I wish he sits his team to fight for the title as much as a top four finish!!!!!.
The apologist just like the last 12 years will come out in force telling us to put it into prospective.
Did no one tell them this is the second time in three weeks we fail to go top at HOME.
Oh wait it’s the home crowed fault nothing to do with Arsene!!!!!.
I hate “fans” like yourself. Only come out when we have a disappointing game. We are 15 games undefeated and you still find a reason to moan. Is it THAT hard to support your team?
Also, our home crowd is always abysmal for derby games, even at chelsea when we were 3-0 up, couldn’t hear a single chant. (of course it’s not their fault, but just saying)
I can’t stand the international break.
Time for Santi to recover…I am liking the interlull for once!
I actually need a break.
Our forwards and midfielders regularly lose aerial challenges and the Sp*ds took advantage. The danger came when Ozil missed both a header and a recovery tackle and the ball found it’s way to Dembele. We need to cover those situations better against a big United team.
And I agree with Arsene, contact is not a penalty, especially when the attacking player forces the contact.
Firmly rooted to 4th place with a trip to Old Toilet to look forward to. Somethings never change. Welcome to November!!
Good interview from Wenger with some great comments, especially his tongue-in-cheek critique of Wimmer’ own goal.
Personally, I’m not dismayed by the point gained today.
What a twat that interviewer is. – When asking Wenger about the pen: Fails to mention that Dembele fouled Coq in the buildup by blatantly tugging his shirt, while also jumping into Kos clearly looking for the penalty. However, he says that there was “contact” between the players. Wenger put him in his place by pointing out that contact is not a penalty, only a foul is a penalty. – When asking Wenger about the own goal: Builds up into his question by saying that Arsenal were gifted the goal because some players were offside – suddenly he knows how… Read more »
It was irritating to see that BT Sports were hell bent on proving that it was offside. Howard Webb read out the offside rule and even though there is a bit of grey area in the way it’s written, it didn’t look like Sanchez violated any of the conditions but they were banging on about how that defender had to head the ball because he knew Sanchez was behind him and that constitutes as “interfering with the play” while completely ignoring the fact that the defender headed the ball because Koscielny was directly behind him and was onside. Ox can never complain about not getting getting. He waists his opportunities more often than not.
The substitutes could not make any impact. That to me was most disappointing. I mean look at te options that came from the bench and apart from one Giroud header, I can’t think of any decent chance to us in last 25 mins. Ox says he needs game time, well.. it’s about deserving game time more than needing one. Very scrappy game and I wonder why “nerves” are always a factor in our bad results? We just could not create lot of chances in the end and the one we had (Iwobi and Giroud), we could not take. Dissapointed but… Read more »
