Arsene Wenger has provided the latest team news update ahead of Monday’s Premier League clash with West Brom.
The Gunners are looking to get back to winning ways after two successive defeats, and after the City game we’ll be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who picked up what appears to be a mild hamstring strain.
“From Monday we lose Chamberlain,” he said. “I don’t know if Ramsey will be involved or not, but he’s back in full training today.
“There’s also good news, Danny Welbeck will join in today, and obviously he’s been out for quite a long time.”
Expanding on the Ox, he said, “It’s a question of days, rather than weeks.”

I agree with your regret, but let’s be honest – we didn’t “let” him leave. He wanted to be playing first team football and forced a move. He was out of contract next summer and would have left for free then.

What kind of hamstring injury takes days to recover? Did he really need to come out? Weak. 23 year old, elite athlete, cannot handle his craft for more than 10 minutes. All the criticism about ozil… i know he has more goals and assist this year than in any prior year, but he has an equal amount of crosses and shots that missed by 50 yards. Tired of seeing him in our lineups. He is not title winning quality

our midfield is really struggling without santi.in big matches against top teams they are simply isolating coq and xhaka. we really need someone different to bring the ball out from the back. ramsey is our only option for that. praying he step up
