Arsenal have confirmed the loan move of Dan Crowley to Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles.
The 19 year old had been on loan with Oxford United but that was cut short by the League One side late last year due to disciplinary issues.
That was the second time a loan deal has been ended prematurely, and the talented midfielder is now surely heading towards the last chance saloon.
He had a successful trial with Go Ahead Eagles last month and the Eredivisie outfit have decided to take him until the end of the season.
Let’s hope he gets his head together and that it goes well for him, although being sent off in a friendly yesterday is a hell of a way to make a first impression.

There seems to be a bit of the Allister in him.
From what I’ve read and heard about him so far, he seems to be a case of all talent and no brains. Pretty stupid to have two loans cut short due to disciplinary issues, then get sent off in a friendly in the first appearance of your third loan.
Hopefully whoever runs Go Ahead Eagles will straighten him out, because in the glimpses I’ve seen of him playing for our youth teams he’s looked very, very good. If he can get his head screwed on right, he’ll be an asset. Just got to fix his mentality.
Sent off in a friendly, that’s desperate Dan
Another TGSTEL? Unfortunately for him, Wenger does not put up with players with excessive discipline issues. If he develops into a great player, we need to keep him. Plenty of nice guys like Giroud, Ozil, Walcott, Welbeck, Cech is boring and they always fall short of winning the title. You need a smooth bully (Keown style). Maybe Xhaka will develop into that role.
Heard he is a talented player .hope he dont ruin his career just like jermaine pennant
Actually pretty hilarious tbh
I would have thought training around top pros, who show examples daily how to train and work at Arsenal, with Arsene and Bouldy watching and letting you know, would be better than abroard. But hey what do I know
He wouldn’t be training with the first team. He’d be with the u21’s most of the time. I assume the loans are because of his slight frame he needs to learn to cope with the physicality of men’s football. If his lack discipline is causing the loans to be cancelled then he has little chance of developing as he won’t get first team exposure at arsenal.
Real shame he seems to be such a dick as it is clear he has a lot of talent?. Hopefully he can get his shit together
What is the story behind the team’s name – “Go Ahead Eagles”? Any Dutch Gooners know?
