It’s Premier League action today as Arsenal face Crystal Palace at the Emirates. With two games in 48 hours, Arsene Wenger has had some thinking to do in terms of his team selection.

Iwobi in the 10 role?
I would have expected Alexis playing in the middle behind Giroud, similarly to how Griezman played off of Oli for France during Euro 2016.
Any ideas as to why Mesut isn’t on the bench? I’m liking the inclusion of Lucas, he will provide dangerous crosses for Giroud!

that will be my dream come true. i know its not a formation ozil can play but sanchez playing in griezman role combining with girouds will be devastating. i really think we should try this more often

Sanchez or Iwobi as the #10? I like the idea of Sanchez there: he likes to distribute and he can cover lots of ground. Also fast enough to get in behind like Ozil has been doing. A very intriguing spot for him.
I think we needed to have Sanchez play he no 10 because he was doing i anyway. Ozil changed his play this season as he is not on the ball as much and wants to be the one doing the runs to get at the end of things. He needs balance as too much of one thing is never good. Sanchez is an example. He will run in behind, can hold the ball up and also that trade mark chip cross to setup chances. He is getting better and better at Arsenal so he owes that much to the club.

Iwobi is making a good first of playing No 10. Perez looks a little rusty. I am still concerned that Arsenal are not dominating the Midfield. Still not sure of our best midfield 2 without Santi. Would have loved to see Xhaka and Rambo but sadly Rambo has flu!
