Arsenal have confirmed that Marc Bola will spend the rest of the season on loan at Notts County.
The 19-year-old defender, a regular in Steve Gatting’s under-23s, was named on the bench for the EFL Cup games with Reading and Southampton and heads to Meadow Lane in search of more experience.
Speaking about the move, Bola told his new club’s official site: “Notts County is a massive club and I’m just buzzing to get playing.”
New boss Kevin Nolan (yep, that Kevin Nolan) was also pleased with his deadline day business.
“Marc has tremendous potential and his physicality makes him a good fit for this league.
“He will be keen to show what he can do at first-team level and we are delighted to have him here.”
Best of luck to him.
what league
Aww he’s going to get Allardyce all over him. Better hose him off good when he gets back.
Jesus, he better not be taking T-Rex with him!!!
Good luck to the boy. I’m proud of where he has come from & the direction he’s heading. Looks like with the addition of the young Cohen maybe the end for Marc at Arsenal but I really hope he can establish himself. Fingers crossed
