Arsenal will receive approximately 28,000 tickets for the FA Cup final, it has been announced.
This is around 3,000 more than we got for the 4-0 2015 final win over Aston Villa.
The application process for tickets has also been revealed by the club, and they are as follows:
- Any current Away Scheme (away season ticket subscription) or current Platinum/Gold Member is guaranteed a ticket if a Member has attended THREE OR MORE away fixtures over the last two full consecutive seasons. This dates from August 19, 2014 – April 17, 2017. All fans in these categories will be guaranteed one ticket per membership, as long as the tickets are purchased between 10am on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 and 11am on Friday, May 5, 2017
- Any current Platinum and Gold Members who have attended TWO OR LESS away fixtures over the last two full consecutive seasons, will be able to register an interest in purchasing a ticket by completing an online registration between 10am on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 until 11am on Friday, May 5, 2017. This is unfortunately not a guarantee of a ticket. If the Club receives more registrations than tickets available, a random ballot will be held.
- Given the high demand, it is inevitable that Members outside the above groups will regrettably not have access to tickets for the fixture.
The Gunners have been given the east section of Wembley, and given that Chelsea’s kit does not clash with ours, we’ll be wearing the traditional red and white, as we did when we last faced them in the final in 2002.
You know the one. It’s only Ray Parlour. Then Freddie Ljungberg made John Terry fall over before doing this:

A few of those in the final from Alexis would be nice.
What a goal, what a player.
We love u Freddie, red hair or not!
Just gave me goosebumps
Really crap day at work then watched the video……everything’s ok now
I suppose the 2017 version of Freddie and Ray are Aaron and Ox. Hopefully Ox can leave Luiz on his hair this time
Its outrageous as it takes no account of elderly supporters who no longer go to away matches. I have been a season ticket holder for over 50 years but are being deprived of an opportunity to go to the Cup Final. This is how Arsenal treat their older supporters and unlike many other clubs provide no reduction in the cost of the season tickets for older supporters.
Well then u have had plenty of opportunities to attend Cup finals in the past. Can u think of a fairer way of ensuring that passionate followers of the team get tickets?
As a STH for 8 or so years stuck on 2 credits (been to more but usually unable to get tickets through my own), I certainly wouldn’t begrudge STH with a long history of consecutive renewals being guaranteed tickets along with those who had ‘attended’ three or more away games.
This again raises the issue of Away STH buying tickets in their own names but then selling on to others. It’s nigh on impossible to get away tickets these days to gain credits. My 2 season tickets managed to get just 1 ticket for the Hull final and 0 for Villa – some reward for being both a Bond Holder an season ticket holder ever since they first introduced standing season tickets at Highbury, a bond holder to enable North Bank rebuild and every year at Emirates! Many STH did not bother with semi finals but those who did have… Read more »
Fucking excellent
I love how that guy behind the net is running away with his arms in the air before the ball even goes in.
Apparently that was Lee Dixon, not very sure but read this in the comments section on another video of this match.
Yeah that was Lee Dixon, he was warming up back there.
Also love Thierry’s aggressive inside-out movement to create a little runway for Freddie.
Never tire of seeing that ?
If we win against Spuds, we will be back in contention for top 4. We will ensure they win nothing, achieve top 4 as them plus win the FA Cup.
We need to take maximum points vs Spurs and manutd. then we can consider top 4. Speaking of manure.. Fellaini… hahaha what a knobhead!
I still remember being yelled at by my mum for breaking the couch after that goal. Jumped on the couch and the damn thing snapped in half. 10/10 would ruin couch again.
Trouble nowdays if the last defender fell over like that and we were through on goal, it would be a back heel to the player running in behind him instead of a shot!
To be fair we did try and walk it in to the net back in those days too, both goals were a bit out of the blue for us, I can recall Cashly getting into a similar position and waiting for Thierry to turn up during the game.
“It’s only Ray Parlour”.
I’m 43. I shouldn’t take pleasure in the pain of others, I should be mature enough to rise above it. But, Lovejoy was and I understand, still is, a total bell end. His abject agony and humiliation is available for all on you tube, you just need to search for ‘It’s only ray parlour’. Available for all time, a total and complete talent-less, irritating, ‘wasp at a picnic’ wanker making himself look an utter, utter cunt. Food for the soul.
Im 51 and loving the lovejoy bashing the utter cunt almost on a john terry level but not quite. There is no age limit.
All i can say is feck the fa
