This team is a big gamble. You’re asking a lot of young players and some coming back from injury to play 90 minutes against a very good European team. And as we know Wenger’s gambles rarely come off…..
They are not very good (living in a region and gets to watch them often) but they are neither that bad not to be able to cope with our 3rd choice team.

If we’re lacking CB numbers, how about just moving back to a 2-man CB defence of a 4-3-3?
You should try just a little change, before you know…March, where the inevitable formation change requested since the start will happen and will set us up for a strong finish.

As Chippy himself said a few days ago… this is our best chance of CL next season. So true cause we wont be top four. When the CL dropouts come in it will be a different competition and wenger will be out of his depth again as he is weekly in every game.

My guess is that Debuchy has a cracking game, kick starts his arsenal career, a really impressive season, gets offered a big contract and leaves on a free in July

Surely the kids would get a better experience with more established group alongside them. And if Alexis and Ozil are going stick them in every game.
No way this team can win agains Red Star. They may not be good at the moment but the club has history, they won the Champions League in the 1991 (used to be Europeans Champions Cup) and became world champions by winning in Tokyo.
