Eddie Nketiah fired England under-21s into the final of the Toulon Tournament as they overcame Scotland 3-1.
The 19-year-old grabbed an assist and netted a brace as Aidy Boothroyd’s Young Lions came from behind to book a clash with Mexico on Sunday.
The Arsenal Academy graduate teed up Everton’s Callum Connolly to cancel out Mikey Johnston’s opener before he produced two fine finishes to seal the comeback.
Great 3-1 win vs Scotland U21s in the semi finals, happy to score 2 goals and get an assist! Looking forward to the final ???? @England pic.twitter.com/EVee30oxvL

His first ever goal at under-21 level saw him show deft footwork to create space on the left angle of the box before he unleashed an unstoppable right-foot drive. He followed it up with a tidy dribble at the back-peddling Scottish defence and a curled left-foot effort that found the top corner.

In total, Nketiah has 15 goals in 15 games for England at under-18, under-19 and under-21 level. Not too shabby.
He signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates in December after netting on his first team debut against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup.
This dude has very impressive stats. Hopefully he’ll cut it at the top level and it’ll be with us. Ride on Eddie
Wow! Outstanding goals! Hope he can continue to progress with us or on loan. Could grow to be an amazing talent, thanks Chelski!! Haha
No loan for Eddie. He should be in the team as a sub, period. Hope he can do a job as a winger too. If we are winning a game, take Laca out at the 70th minute and give a chance to Eddie.
Ah! The good ol’ 70th minute sub aye
70th minute sub … Arsene, is that you?
Great skills. Proper striker. Think he deserves his chance with the first team.
Eddie ‘shoot on site’ Nketiah. My Man.
This guy is scoring at every level. Hard not to start hyping him. Future Aubamayeng replacement right here.
Both feet
What a couple of fantastic finishes. He really is starting to look the real deal!
We should keep Eddie and not loan him out. His sub appearances will be much appreciated I’m sure. Our loanees end up crocked more often than not. Eddie should definitely stay put to prove himself.
He looks a real prospect, just hoping he’s not the next Lupoli!
First goal right-footed, second was with his left. Natural.
left and right foot too…impressive.
Eddie: Look out Laca … it is too early.
Eddie: Look out Auba … it is way too early.
Eddie: OBE … is it too early?
He is a very talented young man, I just don’t hope we hype him up and burn him out like other young players but let him develop at his own pace ! That first goal of his Poldi would have been proud of, hammered it in to the net through all those players !
