Arsenal Women’s fixtures have been confirmed for the forthcoming FAWSL season, which begins with a home match against Liverpool on Sunday, 9th September. They finish the season with a home match against Manchester City.
The Gunners have also learned the identity of their group stage opponents for the FAWSL Continental Cup, which Montemurro’s side will defend after beating Manchester City in last year’s final. They have been drawn with West Ham, Charlton, Lewes and Millwall Lionesses.
The season starts in earnest in the Conti Cup with a tie against West Ham United on Sunday, 19th August. The league has been restructured this season and will have 12 teams, instead of 10.

I know it’s nothing to do with this article but just saw Sampdoria have signed someone called Ronaldo Vieira. Sounds like those made up players in Football Manager have started to actually exist. Can’t wait for us to sign Zinedine Henry.
Think my daughter and I will go to the Lewes game away seeing as it’s a 10 minute drive away 🙂
Tim do you know how I would purchase tickets for that?
I’m going to that too 🙂 You’ll be able to buy on the turnstile, no problem.
ah that’s perfect! Thanks for the info.
