Arsenal are looking to follow up Sunday’s North London derby victory with a first Premier League win at Old Trafford since 2006.
Here are tonight’s official line-ups.
Man Utd: De Gea, Dalot, Bailly, Smalling, Rojo, Darmian, Herrera, Matic, Lindgard, Rashford, Martial
Subs: Romero, Valencia, Fellaini, Mata, McTominay, Pogba, Lukaku
Arsenal: Leno, Bellerin, Mustafi, Sokratis, Holding, Kolasinac, Guendouzi, Torreira, Ramsey, Iwobi, Aubameyang
Subs: Cech, Lichtsteiner, Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Lacazette, Nketiah
As expected. I’m excited to see the wing-backs tonight! Or should we just start calling them wingers?
COYG!!! 3 points please.
Good lineup.
Lets get him sacked!
Doubled-edged pointy thing.
The longer he stays in his job; the longer we can watch him squirm and unravel. That’s not only good for us, but good for all that gives hope to mankind.
Jesus that’s the least inspiring lineup I’ve seen from utd for as long as I can remember.
Funny isn’t it
Not quite, the elbow cunt is only on the bench
Which Cunt? They have a lot of them on the bench.
Oh that one! Just read your comment properly ?
They do have quite a strong bench though compared to ours (on paper).
For sure, a good mix of quality and dependability. In contrast only Laca on our bench has any real potential to change the game
Mkhi coming off of the bench against Maureen could be a good gamble……
There is no better time to absolutely smash them. Rambo please play with the same intensity as you did Sunday!!
I think we got this one. COYG.
Laca, Mkhitaryan, M-N, Eddie on the bench looks strong – hopefully we won’t need them though! COYG
Makes total sense. Our best available eleven in our most appropriate starting formation for a match that’s signal to our season.
Good bench if needed.
Win and we cement our place at the top of the table.
Wow I am surprised manure have pogba on the bench!!! I just hope we turn these scummers over – long overdue
United’s line up looks shabby but let’s not take em for granted as they have players like martial and rashford who can hurt us with speed and trickery. Hopefully we turn up like we’ve done lately and force even their attacking talents to defend all night.
Coyg!
I like the versatility of the line-ups Emery has put out these past 2 games. A 5-2-2-1 to start that can easily morph into a 5-3-2 by just switching out Iwobi for Lacazette
The name McTominay could be the most irritating surname ever. Especially hearing the commentators say it over and over
I like it! Too bad no Ozil… Mou will struggle targeting the wings as before, and he can’t man mark ozil or anyone… with Ramsey Torreira and Gdouzi they will be chasing shadows. He will have Auba double marked, which is perfect for us when we unleash Laca in the second half.
This is most likely the last time we will face Mourinho at Old Trafford, so let’s see some blood!
Nah. He’s got until the end of the season no matter what I reckon. They can’t find a replacement, that’s the only reason why he wasn’t sacked ages ago.
Jose is bus parking. O ônibus está estacionado. Let’s keep a high level of intensity all match and break them down. Be patient and don’t get sucker punched. One nil to the Arsenal would be just fine!
Yeah that looks like a proper 7 at the back job.
Shows what I know, I thought Elneney would start tonight with his extra physicality and experience. Still, big game for Guendozi, he’s certainly made of the right stuff. I just think mourinho will get someone to try to piss him off, cool head needed
Maybe its just nerves, but I was hoping for something completely left field tactically, to put the cuntbucket off balance from the start. Whatever he is, he’s able to set up his team to nullify another teams tactics.
Obviously there are options from the bench and Emery is capable of changing on the fly, I just worry.
He just copied our formation.
I don’t think they usually play a 3-4-3 / 5-4-1 or do they? So yeah, I also would have appreciated another tweak from Unai to make Mou’s head hurt.
Tony Adams seems to have taken Martin Keowns pundit spot on BT Sport. So far he’s done his best to further diminish his hero status (not as a player obviously)
‘Not as a player’, what other hero status has the man got?! I’m confused…
As an arsenal man. Over the last ten years he’s been so critical of arsenal. I don’t expect blind loyalty but some balance would be nice
Caprice ?
I would have liked Lacazette instead of Iwobi….. But Emery knows. A fantastic option to bring on from the bench. United look very defensive, I think Mourinho would take a draw here, but their front 3 have pace and quick feet so Mustafi and Holding need to be careful with the sliding tackles and Sokratis needs to be careful with the cynical fouls. Come on Arsenal!!
They have more pace on the counter than Spurs so it’ll be a challenge. COYG!!!!!
Underestimate manure at your peril. That’s still quite a good line up, especially up front.
Still, I’m picking 2-1 to us.
Lingard, Martial and Rashford.
Maureen’s setting them up for counter attacks.
I hope Emery will be well aware of this.
I think he plans to try and catch us with pacy counter attacks, then hit us with the strength and height of Lukaku, Pogba and co, when we’re tiring a bit later in the game. Let’s hope Moanio’s tactics backfire on him, but there’s a worrying amount of depth and physicality on that United bench.
Always quite liked Ramsey on the right. He’s quite effective there. This is our best chance of beating that lot at home in a while. With the new attitude instilled in the team we have a very good opportunity here.
Scoring a goal and then letting one in straight away is disappointing
Oh botheration holding is injured and it looks bad, like he will be out some time!!! Why do we always have a stinker against manure, even when their squad is depleted!!!
Only surprise was Ramsey instead of Mhki.
Thought Mustafi may have sat this one out but the fellow is robust to say the least. Then we lose Holding.
Mhki did good coming on against the old club.
BUT we failed to do sensible things immediately after scoring. Still a lack of maturity about us.
