Arsenal Women today discovered the identity of their opponents for this season’s Continental Tyres Cup group stage (the women’s equivalent of the league cup). The group stage takes place between September and December and the Gunners are in a regionalised group featuring five other teams, whom they will play once each.
They will face Brighton & Hove Albion, Bristol City, Charlton Athletic, London Bees and London City Lionesses (formerly Millwall Lionesses). The fixtures will be released in due course, as well as who Arsenal will play at home and who they will play away. The dates for the fixtures are as below.

2nd/3rd November
20th/21st November
12th/13th December
Last season, the Gunners made it to the final, drawing 0-0 with Manchester City after extra time, but losing 4-3 on penalties.
