Arsenal Women will discover their opponents for the Champions League quarter-final on Friday afternoon, when the draw is made in Nyon. The draw takes place at 1230pm UK time.
Joe Montemurro’s side qualified for the quarter-final in emphatic fashion, thrashing Czech champions Slavia Praha 13-2 on aggregate. They are guaranteed a tougher assignment in the quarter-finals, which will take place in March.

The draw is now totally open and the Gunners will play one of Lyon, Wolfsburg, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG, Atletico Madrid or Glasgow City. They would only be outright favourites if they faced the latter and would be underdogs were they to draw Lyon or Wolfsburg. The rest would be difficult to call.
We will have news of the draw for you on Arseblog News as soon as it is made on Friday.

Wow! A positive Arsenal story! I’m going to print it out, frame it and hang it on my wall! Go girls – and Glasgow City please.
The ladies are the only ray of light right now in the club …
They are all tough draws, but I’m hoping to avoid Lyon or Wolfsburg.
The Gods of the Draw have smiled on us thus far!
We might have trepidation about facing Lyon or Wolfsburg but I suspect that feeling is reciprocated.
