After Wolves, part of me wanted Mikel to put out the first team to a) get them used to scoring goals again and b) as a punishment for their lacklustre performance.

Seems bonkers. Especially as they could be a solution to some of our problems, especially ESR, I’d be trying to integrate him into 1st team football as much as possible and tonight is basically a free hit
ESR has the qualities we are seriously lacking, he’s young and unproven but you’ll only know if he can handle the pressure by playing him. Seems a no brainer to me… Instead he is going to play the last 5 min or so
5 subs available tonight, so hopefully he’ll get some serious minutes.

Pepe has been a real threat and livewire down that left side. I think he is more effective playing from there.
He just needs to work on when to make that pass a bit. A little less selfishness could have led to 2 more.
But I agree, we need to switch it up with him. On the right they’ve got his number always cutting in onto his left.
