Arsenal defenders Zane Monlouis and Daniel Oyegoke have received their first callups to the England U19 squad.
Both players have previously been part of the England setup, with Monlouis having featured for the U17s, while Oyegoke has played for the U18s.
Now they have both been selected for a training camp that will be held at St George’s Park next week with the pair looking to be part of the England squad that will be aiming to qualify for the U19 European Championship next year.
At the age of 17 Monlouis has already established himself as a regular in the Arsenal U23 side, with the centre-back having previously featured heavily for the U18s while he was a schoolboy.
Oyegoke, meanwhile, has demonstrated his versatility. The 18-year-old is usually deployed at right-back but has been used at centre-back on several occasions recently and he is also capable of playing in midfield. He was involved with the first-team in pre-season last year and is highly rated by the club.
Both players will primarily be focused with developing well at club level, but their progress on the international stage represents another step forward as far their overall development is concerned.

Go the lads! Congratulations to them.
Saka and ESR already show the way.
Good news. Monluis is an interesting talent. Hope his development continues. Don’t know much about Oyegoke’s game but happy for him, hope he cries well.
