Great signs, though easy oppo. Let’s hope we take the confidence forward and beat United.
James Benge, Tim Stillman and James McNicholas walk into a bar.
The bartender asks what they would like to drink.
James Benge asks for a pint of bitter, because he loves it that Sp*rs fans are so bitter, having lived in our shadow since conception.
Tim Stillman asks for a glass of wine, because he loves hearing Tottenham fans whine about how shit they are.
Finally the barman asks James McNicholas and he also comes up with something witty and relevant because he is as smart, if not smarter, than his two drinking buddies.
And then the joke ends.

Is that a dig at James? Personally I enjoy his analysis and wit!
Real test for how this team has progressed will be on Thursday. With Liverpool I wasn’t expecting a lot but also wasn’t happy the way we let them spank us. With Newcastle it was a game we must be winning at home and we did. Man Utd are in the same boat as us roughly, so this game will be a good measure of how we are doing.
I agree that there is every possibility that both White and Gabriel will be at the very top as centre halves. Which means, perhaps most important, they will be good enough to trust to contain counters (often with little help) when we send everyone forward. Think Puyol and Pique or Van Dijk and anyone.
