Arsenal U23s host their Tottenham Hotspur counterparts tonight in an intriguing encounter.
Games between these sides at any level are always intense, and Arsenal will be determined to return to winning ways after being beaten 4-1 by Liverpool in their last game.
Arsenal face a wait to see whether Omari Hutchinson, Zak Swanson and Zach Awe will be available for this fixture, with the trio having been involved in first-team training this week.
Marcelo Flores is definitely with the U23s tonight and the Mexico international is quickly establishing himself as one of Arsenal’s standout players at this level. Flores’ main position is as an attacking midfielder, but he has frequently been deployed on the left wing and relishes cutting inside to shoot, while his linkup play is also of a high standard.
Bradley Ibrahim, who has demonstrated his versatility of late, is also set to be included in the squad again.
Arsenal U23s’ results have been rather inconsistent of late, but they did prevail with a 2-1 win when these sides last faced each other in August.
Tottenham haven’t won any of their last five games, with their U23 squad somewhat depleted, but they still have players who can cause problems for Arsenal, such as J’Neil Bennett.
The game kicks off at 7pm at Meadow Park and will be shown live on Arsenal.com.

Completely left-field but this fixture could be a good opportunity to give 45 minutes to Lokonga.
