Arsenal are looking to follow up Wednesday’s win over Chelsea with three points against Man Utd at the Emirates this afternoon.

Agreed. Cedric has decent attacking qualities but I hope he just looks for Saka or Ode with a simple pass instead of aimlessly crossing it. Take him off set-pieces too.
Now that I’ve wrote that, he’ll grab a couple of assists today.
maybe he is instructed to stay at the back and let Tavares do the attacking? the question will be if that works…..
Really hope Tomi is coming on in the 70th minute to close out the game. I’ve never been so excited to see a defender come back. Hope he hits the ground running

I think, arteta is relying in extra defensive protection that elneny-xhaka axis provides. Also to improve technical ability of our team.without parey, martinelli is getting benched for more creative smith.
Fernandes Sancho and Ronaldo! That’s the kind of trio which can really trouble Arsenal’s backline. Really nervous before the kick-off. Hopefully we will get three points and a spanking handed to united.
That 8-2 still pains me to this day, perhaps the pain ends today?!

I would have settled for the Chelsea formation.
Arteta knows anyway, but Tavares back on the LFB on his own worries me.
However, United is not at their best at the moment. A great start from us could be too much for them to handle.

Not going to be an easy game. I would have gone with Lokonga though I’m happy for El Neny and know he’ll give his all. Either way I hope we dominate possession and go for it.
Would have preferred holding over Cedric or Tavares but if it isn’t looking good that’s where the subs bench can hopefully do the honours!!!
