Arsenal goalkeeper Fran Stenson has joined Birmingham City on loan for the 2022-23 season. This follows the signing of American goalkeeper Kaylan Marckese earlier this week.
This will be Stenson’s third loan spell since joining Arsenal from Manchester City in 2019. She also had spells at Blackburn Rovers and Brighton.
This loan takes Fran back to the club where she started her career. She has one first team appearance for Arsenal in a Conti Cup tie at London City Lionesses in November 2020.
