Jonas Eidevall has again opted for Laura Wienroither at right-back while Beth Mead is rested to the bench with Katie McCabe and Caitlin Foord in the wide positions.
Stina Blackstenius starts upfront, the midfield is unchanged with Walti, Little and Miedema, while Wienroither is joined in the back four by Rafaelle, Leah Williamson and Steph Catley.
TEAm: 1.Zinsberger; 26.Wienroither, 6.Williamson, 2.Rafaelle, 7.Catley; 13.Walti, 10.Little(c), 11.Miedema; 15.McCabe, 19.Foord; 25.Blackstenius.
Subs: 3.Wubben-Moy, 5.Beattie, 8.Nobbs, 9.Mead, 12.Maanum, 16.Maritz, 17.Hurtig, 18.Mackerse, 23.Iwabuchi
“Resting” mead at this point seems odd as our next WSL game is Oct-16th I believe.
This makes me think McCabe starting on the right is purely tactical.
Livestream on Arsenal.com isn’t working. Just spinning on the intro.
Did we play the stoppage time with ten players? Why??
We’d already used three subs on three separate occasions, they obviously don’t have concussion subs in the Women’s CL
You’re right of course. Thanks. Bad challenge from the defender.
We’d used up our three substitution slots for Wubben-Moy, Mead & Maanum (can only bring on five subs in one of three slots, and I don’t think UEFA are doing concussion subs yet)
Wish Meado had “rested” for the whole game then she wouldn’t have had her face smashed in!
Seriously hope she is ok and it is not as bad as it looked on screen!
