Arsenal’s Beth Mead has been nominated for BBC’s Women’s Footballer of the Year.
Beth is nominated alongside Sam Kerr (Chelsea) Alexandra Popp (Wolfsburg), Alexia Putellas (Barcelona) and Wendie Renard (Lyon).
Mead enjoyed an outstanding season for Arsenal, winning both the Arsenal.com and Arsenal Women Supporters Club Player of the Season awards for her form in 2021-22 which saw her score 11 goals and notch eight assists.
She took that form into the European Championships with England, winning the tournament Golden Boot and player of the tournament awards as England lifted the trophy on home soil.
The winner will be announced on 9th November. You can vote for Beth at the link below, voting closes at 0900BST on 12th October.

She would be a deserved winner. Top scorer at the Euros. It would be remarkable if she didn’t win.
